Special «Hovering Railgun» mode

 

Check out all the superpowers of the new hull! On September 19th and 20th, a special DM mode will be added to matchmaking, taking place on the «Skyscrapers» map. In this mode, all players will have Hopper equipped with a fast overdrive recharge augment and Railgun with an extreme damage augment. To make these battles even more epic, there will be many, many, MANY gold boxes!

 

Don’t miss these Hopper gladiator fights! Trust us, you have never seen anything like this before. These settings for Hopper and Railgun will be available only in this mode and only during the dates when the mode will be available.

Coinboxes and Ultra Containers

 

Starting from September 19th 2:00 UTC till September 21th 2:00 UTC, Coinboxes, and  starting from the same date till September 24th 2:00 UTC Ultra Containers will be available in the Shop!

 

This time, the latter are even more special! Open an Ultra Container and get one of the following prizes: Hopper MK1, augments and an XT-skin for Hopper, crystals, premium, gold boxes, days of premium pass, common and rare paints, augments, XT and PR skins, Coinboxes, and even a «Crisis» drone with which Hopper can jump over the Sandbox map! You can't buy it for tankoins, only in the special offer and Ultra containers.

But this is sad...

It's not like Crisis, it's a hull, and all players should have been able to buy it... now it all depends on grinding, and luck. More importantly, it's possible that even if F2P players grind, all the UT containers they'll get won't have the new Hopper hull!

I really don't understand why this is happening the way it's happening...

And if such a large fraction of the player-base is Hopper-less, then I can't see how the special Railgun-Hopper event map will even have enough players.

You don't need to have the Hopper hull or anything to play in the new special mode.

Nah, even if u don't have Hopper / Railgun, u can join the gamemode.

No, When you Join the DM mode, you will automatically have the Hopper hull and railgun.

Thanks to @Levi, @coconuttree I have now understood the new special event, and how one can obtain Hopper. The V-LOG explained it very well.

That is the point, everybody will fight for it in the air. Espect melee fight in the sky. I wish I could join with a wasp and make crispy Hoppers
