Mad Tanks!

Experimental games today were played in control point mode.

YAWN, this experiment is getting really boring now. Same four maps, same bunch of Vikings who can't turn their turrets, Firebird every other turret, every game a whitewash. Nice to see Dictator making a comeback. was my favorite hull for a long time back when Dic/Rail was a combo you could play with. The thing is too damn big for small maps but great for shooting over obstacles with Vulcan. Also nice to play sneaky again. Got really fed up of everyone's tank being outlined in yellow all the time. Very hard to use stealth in this game anyway without that. Maybe I'll go back to Wasp/Smokey again and creep round the map sniping Shaft players?

Some tweaks to consider when this experiment is, finally, over.

Why do the hulls turn faster than the turrets? Nerf all the hull turning speeds and buff the turret speeds to compensate. I have spent a lot of time and effort into learning how to drive my hull AND turn my turret. All a player has to do is spin in place to keep up wih me strafing him in a circle. Reward skill in the game.

Put the auto pause feature on turret turning instead of movement. 

Nerf all protection modules back to 35% and allow four modules to be carried.

MM by gear score not rank.

Hornet's overdrive would be very useful if it showed where the enemies mines are. Mines are such an underused part of the game that when they are used they dominate and then everyone complains. 

Emphasise teamwork, skill and gameplay over having the most OP combo and killing the most. Yes I know it's a shoot the tank game, but it's not just a shoot the tank game. I have played many games where I have completed the objective but killed none or very few and have come last in the team with a very low score.

Will there be another experiment? 10 minute 10V10 games with a 20% armour buff and a 10% overdrive and drone nerf would seem a good start. Not alowing buyer only gear would be good too. SOOO sick of being killed by Gauss EMP. How do you think people would react to that?

But then there's another HTML5 problem and that's SHAFT. In html suddenly aim is shaking all the time. What I could before aim in a second in flash, now I can't hit anything, because the air won't stay still no matter what. I have to aim a stationary target for several seconds to be able to hit it, but that's not realistic in the fast moving game. So they pretty much destroyed shaft as well. 

I agree with you... I also noticed the problem in HTML

Agree with a lot of what you say except for...

- modules back to 35%.  Only partially agree.  Needs to stay at 3x50% with option for a 4th whereby all equipped modules drop down in %.

- Can't do MM by GS alone.  No real reason to spend $ since upgrading gives you no advantage.  And it punishes any mid-level tanker who has ONE upgraded combo.  They end up playing Legends who have multiple combos.  Again - discourages upgrading.

But the mid level tanker is free to dominate the opposition because he has one upgraded combo. No matter how MM is done it's going to be unfair to someone which is why tanki were told not to do it but did it anyway. 

I always thought the whole point of the game was to reach Legend rank and play at the highest level. Which at the time I did it took quite a bit of effort. Now with experience points X4 and above happens much sooner with less chance to build a decent garage. This is a concious choice made by the developers to milk a bit more money out of the players. With this in mind there is no system that will work fairly other than GS. If a player wants to play a high GS combo then it's only fair that they play with other high GS combos. If they don't want to play with the big boys use something else.

Sorry to say that this is a very bad update and i hope it will be stopped. For me there is a decrease in xp points and killing effect of my shaft/ Shaft hits bring minimal damage to oponents , so the rest is OP. Also the titan overdrive has become the weakest of all overdrives ( as in combination titan/shaft)

I already answered all the questions for this experiment. I do like it a lot. This experiment is best for more luck on finishing first in battles and stronger hulls. Most importantly, Wasp and Hornet, which was too weak before are now strong enough to resist being destroyed too easily when taking a flag and ball in CTF and rugby battles.

Boom. My MK7 turrets are good but Isida and Freeze would need a buff. Freeze needs an increase in its freezing effect and Isida needs a buff for its healing points in HTML5. Other than that, all ease is good.

Where do you live? Freeze is most OP n annoying turret with this update... Ever faced any freeze?

What even are these battle funds? Am i supposed to buy tanks or popsicles? How can two minute reduction from match time decrease battle  funds by ~50%

eg. Now im getting  ~1k a battle with premium, it used to be around 2k.

I did face Freeze before in this update many times. This turret is fine but it is sometimes overpowered with other protections and augments. Use Freeze protections on your hull, plus a Freeze module and you will be hard to kill for Freeze enemies.

There used to be a time, before this update where battles had one or more tanks missing on my team. With this new update, unbalanced battles are less frequent than before though.

As you can see, game balance is important. However, I do admit that it is a normal part of Tanki Online's gameplay mechanics that there is always an overpowered turret or hull in this game. That's how things work in Tanki Online. There is always a dominating turret or hull in Tanki Online.

I really wonder what is going to happen to gifts when Flash goes away?

My first and oldest Tanki Online gift is from Christmas 2015, when I joined Tanki Online for the first year. That gift is a legacy for me because of my first year in Tanki Online. That is the reason why I want to keep all my gifts. I never deleted any of my gifts by other players. I want to keep them all. What is going to happen to gifts once Flash is discontinued in two weeks time?

Mid level buyer will rank up faster than the others and end up outpacing those being dominated.  This is the way P2W/F2P games work.  Else they would not exist.  Having said that I believe TO has swung the pendulum far too much in favor of P2W and this may continue to result in fewer and fewer players.

If the game is not fun on the way to Legend, players will not stick around.  Even in 2015 I found the low to mid ranks a lot more fun to play than the upper ranks.  They've added way to many layers to the game.  Hard to believe these are the same developers that suggested MU-ing separate parameters was too confusing.

Use a different turret then - Fire, Freeze, Ricco, Isida and Twins are all boosted.

And with 6 different ODs that can ignore or negate Titan Dome, it's hard to believe you are having so much trouble with it.  Why  can't you disable it with your Hunter Mk7?

Also, you have both Hopper Mk7 and Crisis done.  Why aren't you capping flags to build up score?  Won't get much easier than it is now.

hi im new and i also agree because my wasp firebird is very good now and i hope my firebird and wasp stays very hard to kill

This is so weird I think tanki Online added bots in the game. Most of them are bots I message a lot of my team mates not even single person reply I even write Are you a BOT? they didn't reply . How come Legends don't even know how to move turret lol..... 
Weird ... Look at in forum Everyone reply Any other stuff It is so weird man

I only play viking/shaft and wasp/isida. 3 years leveling that shaft and now is useless. And at the opposite end the wasp is overpowered, I can kill a JGR easly. Result = half time in game ?

There are no bots in Tanki Online. Maybe one day, bots will be added for the Recruit rank only.

Never said there were bots.  I was just answering a question.
