I never managed to open any exotic or special containers, so do they exist? What about the 1 mission crystals? Is that real or fake?

I received Viking XT from a container before, it's possible but very unlikely.

Yes, I did earn the Crisis drone in an ultra container, a few days after its release. I was very lucky. Recently, I also got the Ares XT skin from an ultra container as well. My next hope is to get the XT skin for Hopper in an ultra container.

This os only an experiment an probably it will be removed soon. 2vs6 happened to me before the update, and it's not tanis fault: probably your teammates left at the vety beging of the battle.

Nothing can be done about that since it depends on your teammates, but i still think that Devs need to develop a better algorithim to fill up that gap between teams in battles.

But thats another an issue for another topic.

Damn, you got Crisis and Ares XT, and you're asking if exotic rewards are real? ?
I mean, gotta keep those standards high, I guess.

On the contrary, I've been doing very well with shaft and wasp. Sure you cant just camp in the corner of the map and do well, but thats close to multing anyway. If you take part in the battle and get lots of shots on the enemy, you will get plenty of kills.

A: No. I am a Field Marshal (at time of writing this), and in basically all my battles, I would be matched up with Legends, and lots of them would take Freeze or Isida and when I spawn they would use Booster and destroy me in 3 seconds. The primary reason for spawn killing is the old Hornet OD, now that it doesn't ignore Spawn Protection, it is much better than before.

Q: How did the benefit of well-timed overdrives and drones change? 

A: Not really. The same as before.

Q: How did the importance of team gameplay change? 

A: NOT AT ALL! I am a CTF player, and basically EVERY TIME I bring the flag back to my base, my whole team would surround me for some reason. I write in the chat "Return the flag", but either they all turned their chat off or doesn't understand English, and countinue to surround me like to protect me or something. EVERY TIME I have to PERSONALLY go return the flag, because my teammates won't return for me.

Q: Could this experiment change your interest in the game? 

A: It changed my intrest from liking this game to hating this game.

Q: Do you have any suggestions on how to improve these changes?

A: Keep everything from this experiment EXCEPT the 2x HP. The small maps and 5 minutes is VERY GOOD, but get rid of the 2x HP as fast as you can! Make the devs work overtime, IDC! Just get rid of the 2x HP!

Melee turrets have double energy.  Will be OP if they stayed same but health dropped to normal.

Damn_Slow 5 shots in XP/BP i think you forgot to add 0 in coding so that would make it to 50. I seriously think you guys should become fortnite developer ??

 

Thanks god I'm not part of this game anymore.  The best moment was 2013-2017 ❤️

Yes Ik, but still crazy for two weeks and it's not fun at all sick and tired of shooting 1 tank for last 3 minutes in the game and by the time opponent caps ?

true, thats why im not playing tanki atm (i only make the daily mission and then i close tanki)

Same here, i use Shaft and Guass alot and it is literally a headache to kill enemy with them in this experiment.

I got stuck with a couple of CTF missions today so the experimental games today were-

Chase The Flag!

Dull, dull, dull. Back in Tanki's heyday I made countless crystals playing CTF in Massacre with Dic/Rail and Titan/Vulcan exclusively as goalkeeper. Now it seems the game is grab the flag and hide it, 'cause the other team's got ours. Not even an attempt a defense and when you try you're swamped by 5 players from the other team.

When did this change? What happened to a fattie on the flag a couple of mid fielders and a wasp or two making heroic runs at the other side. 15 minute battles ending 1-0 or a 1-1 draw. Now it's 5-0 in 3 minutes what changed?

One good thing to come out of this experiment is that I'm playing less Tanki. Instead fo sitting and farming a few thousand crytals I now do something else, what's the point in playing? The challenge has been given to me on a plate, the missions are sometimes a bit of a joke, and with everyone on double HP it's no place for a dedicated Vulcan player. It's like trying to tickle them to death. Titans on 20,000 odd points and me doing 44 points a shot or less. They'll die of old age before I kill them. Not helped by me really enjoying playing the despised Hopper so everyone shoots at me as soon as they see me approach the flag. 

I'm not usually one to harp on about the "good old days of Tanki" but I think CTF was better back then, made more sense, and made for some very intense games.

One thing missing from today's MM that was a feature of the old system was the ability to switch sides. Games were unbalanced back then too but with 15 minutes on the clock it was common for players to switch to the losing side to even things out. One good player switching sides could turn the tide of the battle making it much more enjoyable for all. I would search for the one sided battles and join the losing team on purpose and I know lots of other people who enjoyed playing the game for the game's sake did the same. I don't think players are as invested in a game that only lasts 5 minutes and a MM system that puts the first to spawn in a place to cap the flag before the other team is in the game. 

Are players playing the game for the rewards instead of playing a rewarding game?

Une bonne chose à tirer de cette expérience est que je joue moins à Tanki. Au lieu de m'asseoir et de cultiver quelques milliers de cristaux, je fais maintenant autre chose, quel est l'intérêt de jouer? Le défi m'a été donné sur une assiette, les missions sont parfois un peu une blague, et avec tout le monde sur double HP, il n'y a pas de place pour un joueur Vulcain dédié. C'est comme essayer de les chatouiller à mort. Titans sur 20 000 points impairs et moi faisant 44 points par tir ou moins. Ils mourront de vieillesse avant que je les tue. Pas aidé par moi qui aime vraiment jouer le méprisé Hopper alors tout le monde me tire dessus dès qu'ils me voient approcher du drapeau. 

Je ne suis généralement pas du genre à parler du «bon vieux temps de Tanki», mais je pense que la CTF était meilleure à l'époque, avait plus de sens et a permis des matchs très intenses.

Une chose qui manquait au MM d'aujourd'hui qui était une caractéristique de l'ancien système était la possibilité de changer de camp. Les jeux étaient également déséquilibrés à l'époque, mais avec 15 minutes au compteur, il était courant pour les joueurs de passer du côté des perdants pour égaliser les choses. Un bon joueur changer de camp pourrait inverser le cours de la bataille, la rendant beaucoup plus agréable pour tous. Je cherchais les batailles unilatérales et rejoignais volontairement l'équipe perdante et je sais que beaucoup d'autres personnes qui ont aimé jouer au jeu pour le plaisir ont fait de même. Je ne pense pas que les joueurs soient aussi investis dans un jeu qui ne dure que 5 minutes et un système MM qui place le premier à apparaître dans un endroit pour coiffer le drapeau avant que l'autre équipe ne soit dans le jeu. 

Les joueurs jouent-ils au jeu pour les récompenses au lieu de jouer à un jeu enrichissant?  

 

Personally I just play for the missions and therefore the rewards. Won't waste time collecting 300 critals while I spent 500 critals with supplies. It's *****.
