I have good news for everyone. There is a second experiment which starts on December 2nd and ends on December 16th. This time, the experiment will focus on removing all small and medium sized maps and double the number of players from 8 vs 8 to 16 vs 16. This should be fun. This seconds experiment will be the opposite to this one we just had a few days ago.

Maybe after this second experiment ends, developers will make the final decision on applying the update on map sizes and the number of players required for matchmaking battles. Also to take into consideration will be turret power and hull armor as well. I bet that this new coming experiment is going to bring lots of dynamic fun for players because it will surely bring more players together, making a bigger and better community of players that are friends. I bet this experiment will work better than the one we just had.

As for a DM game mode, I bet that the solo juggernaut mode where each and every player is a juggernaut will make a comeback with twice as many players than usual. I tell you, that this should bring a lot of fun to the player base for another two weeks.

Players have always reported that the matchmaking system was broken since it was first released. Now, this experiment and the upcoming one on December are going to prove that the matchmaking system can be repaired by making some amendments to map sizes, turret and hull buffs and other improvements like new graphics for turrets, hulls, maps and skins.

When the next experiment comes to an end like this one did, developers will combine the statistics for both experiments and choose the perfect middle point where tweaks can be made to make the refurbished matchmaking system perfectly balanced out between map size, turrets and hull buffs and the number of players on each of the teams. In addition to that, bug fixes are going to be applied to remove any anomalies that are remaining in the matchmaking system. We all want a perfect matchmaking system that works for all players so that Tanki Online can continue to be successful for many, many years to come.

Yeah - one side will have 6 tanks and the other side 16 tanks.  ?

That is so cool. Developers will combine both experiment into a middle point where balance is perfect for the matchmaking system. I bet that future matchmaking battles will be 10 vs 10 after the second experiment ends. We shall see. That's only my prediction for now.

I do hope that in the next experiment that developers are going to make juggernaut 100,000 HP of armor and double the damage of its rockets and Terminator Railguns. That would be a good thing to experiment with.

I find it unfortunate that the k / D ratio is lost by this values.  Before when we had a big ratio we were proud because it was the skills of the player.  Now it doesn't make sense anymore with drones, overdrive and protection.  the guy has a ratio of 4 and when we go to his profile we see 50% protection, drone more than 100h use. For me the ranking of the players has no value. where have the real players gone?

I bet you all folks that the next experiment will bring a lot of fun and laughter to all players. Big maps and 16 vs 16 players, plus DM juggernaut mode with all players becoming a juggernaut. That will be exciting. I simply cannot wait for it.

Well first week of live testing i had around 179k exp, but thats because i grinded to get the 50k battle score over and done with, then just really played missions. Along side those I was testing out different combo's in different modes to see if other game styles were effected in a bad way. This is the only reason the first week was slightly high. By all means, it wasn't playing because I was having fun. as the following shows

Second week of testing was just me playing for missions and a lil helping friends out grind the 50k score. Hence only 70k exp. Average the first and second week, 124k exp a week, but as time would have went, I would have played much less if a 3rd week was involved.

Current is me playing for fun, also holding back since i didnt want to rank early, I ranked on thursday night, and yesterday afternoon, that's within 2 days of having fun, whilst holding back.

It's because I prefer offence over defence gameplay. Both my weeks usually remain consistent.

I wonder if there shall be any experiments with XP/BP in the future? I just played an XP/BP battle on the Sandbox map and earned an amazing crystal reward.

I have used Freeze/Dictator combo in this battle mode. I am glad that Freeze/Dictator combos are now allowed in XP/BP. I also played this battle in the Flash version to see how good Flash is in XP/BP and it worked fine without crashes.

The next experiment will be really good. I mean, so good that all good players willing to play on large maps bigger than the usual sized maps will want to use their long range turrets there. Campers will surely be more than happy to camp on those very big maps and take shots with their long range turrets.

That experiment is going to be exciting, especially if the DM juggernaut mode where all players become juggernaut makes a comeback. It would be good if all the hulls had 10,000 HP for all MK8 equipment and turrets have triple damage as of now. The team juggernaut mode would be good in this experiment to experiment on increasing the maximum juggernaut armor to 100,000 HP of health so that it can survive from getting destroyed too much.

A few days before the start of this experiment, we are all going to enjoy 50% sales on Black Friday 2020. I cannot wait for that date to get good sales of 50% off. I will buy the Hopper hull like I promised earlier at half price.

When this second experiment begins, I will use my Hopper hull to stun enemies and move fast across large maps. Now, the best way and the best hull to use for moving and zooming quickly across big maps is Hopper. I hope that developers are going to release good special missions for Black Friday 2020 and for this upcoming experiment as well. For example, destroy 100 enemies using Hopper.

Whilst this first experiment thread is still open, please share your thoughts about this past experiment and thoughts about the upcoming experiment as well. You can suggest some thoughts for yourself on combining both experiments to see if there is a suitable middle point for players to get a good balance between map size, turret power and hull armor. All these thoughts are in your mind, so do not forget to write them down in this thread here.
