I got 4 alterations.

1.magnum:you should add a semi-magnetic alteration to magnum, which will make the bullets you fire seek out enemies near the explosion site which will result in a greater chance for a direct hit,but having part of your shell contain a magnet in it will result in -25% damage, + it will also make you shells slightly heavier, therefore this will add 25% more on reloading time.unlocked at M1.

2.Thunder:the alteration for thunder is a High-Impact shell, this will increase thunders impact force by a Monstrous 50%, which will make the knock aim strategy very easy for thunder. BUT having more impact force means having more recoil which will result in adding 50%more on thunders recoil, and due to the shells being so heavy the reload time will also increase meaning 30% more time reloading.Unlocked at M2.

3.Hammer:I was thinking of Dragon fire pellets as these would set fire on whoever you shoot for a short duration, this will increase hammers damage by a measurable 30% + adding afterburn damage which will be 150 for 3 seconds  meaning 50 damage for every second. But the side effects of dragon fire pellets will result in -40% range + the pellets will have more mass and size than regular bullets meaning that reloading time will be increased by 40%.unlocks at M2.

4.Shaft:Shaft's Alteration is a scope that sees through walls, the Scope generally works on microwave Signal similar to those in an X-ray, only These ones have a longer wave length enabling the them to seek tanks at Great Ranges. However The Microwave Signals can Only Penetrate 1 Object (House/wall/prop/etc.).But Aside From Seeing Enemies Behind Walls ,the Radiation The Microwaves cause can Damage an Enemies Tank, Ex:When you put your sites on enemy, he Starts Receiving Damage Because of the microwave signal's radiation.the Damage is 25 Damage Every second for Close Range And 10 Damage every second for long Range.the Only con of this alteration is that the Micro-Wave Scope is A lot heavier than the Normal One. Making the Turret Speed A lot Slower=Turret Speed Decreases By 40%.

Unlocks at M2.

(NOTE)(This pairs Great with Hexed's idea of shaft penetrating thin walls and props, as the shaft's scope alteration can see through walls making Shaft an even more Dangerous weapon.)

How about implementing something like this to the Freeze turret, so that it is not so noobish. When Freezing tanks, the freezing effect must last longer, so that the after freeze effect can cause continuous damage to enemies.

I have noticed that M3 and M4 Freeze effect is underpowered because when freezing tanks, the frozen enemies can still rotate their turrets and kill you.

Tell you what, if you want after burn/freeze on freeze, you better lose the disabling freeze ability.. but then how is it different to firebird?

Why is it, that no ones ideas for thunder alts ever include something to greater damage... you're always slowing it down, takings stuff away, although if the impact actually does anything... at least its some kind of positive, but I find it doesn't seem to matter how much you punch away at someone the auto aim gets them across the line :/

Why can't we have a depeleted uranium round, or the incendiary round for extra damage with some other trade off...

Remove all alterations :)  best idea yet, don't tell me, I can turn them off in pro battle :P

How is it, that rail and fire get alterations that increase their damage, and thunder gets something that smurfs it into a kind of second rate smoky??

Aunty

Thunder gets the Fat SMoky alt because most players who use it complain and whine about either the reload or the splash damage.

Plus 50% of the players who play it actually suck at playing it.

These are my previous Thunder alts. All but 2 leave damage alone and most indirectly increase DpM.

Thunder: HESH Ammo (Increases damage an impact force at the cost of reload and range. Good for those who want extra umph.)

Damage: +30%

Impact: +30%

Reload: +20%

Range: - 30%

Thunder: Deathstar (Minor WoT joke for those who understand, this alt removes Thunder's splash damage drop off over range and increases its splash radius by 150% at the cost of a heavily reduced reload and a significantly increased recoil factor.)

Splash Range: +Inifnite

Splash Radius: +150%

Reload: +200%

Recoil Factor: +100% (Will potentially flip light hulls in a similar fashion to Shaft.)

Thunder: Death Cannon Shells (Effectively double splash damage and splash radius as the price of a shorter range and longer reload.)

Splash Radius: +100%

Splash Damage: +100%

Reload: +75%

Range: -50%

Thunder: Low Density Warheads (Decreases damage and impact force to increase range and lower reload. Good for long range encounters)

Damage: -30%

Impact Force: -50%

Range: +75%

Reload: -30%

Thunder: High Density Warheads (Significantly increases damage and impact force, and increases reload. Good for short range encounters on small maps such as Polygon. {Pair it with the alteration "Armor Piercing Ammo' for maximum effectiveness})

Damage: +50%

Impact Force: +75%

Reload: +50%

Sorry for the horrible copy paste but now you see :D

- +25% range of max and min damage.

- +30% splash damage.

Cons - +50% reload time.

- +50% self damage.

- -15% rotation speed.

- And a small delay of 0.2 seconds before firing.

Hard to argue with that logic... that leaves the other 50% of us out in the cold :(

My idea is about the striker turret try to put a new alteration that when you launch a missile to a tank attacked by the firebird turret will focus more on the tank affected by this turret as a missile that follows the heat that would be my idea

New alteration for Thunder:

Thunder's new alteration is a Shrapnel Shell, When This Shell Explodes it releases an array of Shrapnel similar to hammer's pellets, the shrapnel pellets can bounce off 1 tank and unlike the normal splash damage, they have impact force, the shrapnel pellets have shorter range than the normal splash but the damage doesn't get affected by distance.(Damage is 1 3rd of you original damage)+ due to shrapnel pellets being on the front your shell they will increase your overall damage by 30%.however the pellets do the same amount of damage to your tank if your not careful (that means 1,3rd of your turrets damage hits you because of self damage).the only cons of this alt is having a higher recoil, and A slower reloading time(30% more reload time).

The tank in WoT that nickname fondly gets, the FV215b (183) mounting a 183mm Royal Ordinance cannon might as well be a tank from Star Wars. It essentially one shots anything it penetrates with its HESH shell because of 1,750 alpha damage. The old Deathstar used to be the JagdPanzer E 100 mounting a 17cm Pak, but, 183>170. :3

Careful there partner, I have used this gun more times than anything else. I have lead my team to victory quite a few times using this gun. And I am a formidable thunder user. Heck I bet I can find many other formidable players that use thunder.

The ones that do suck are always the ones with the wasps and sometimes with hornets, and many others are ones that don't turn their turrets.

You be careful too... I almost never move my turret :P   But I'm far more capable with my thunder than many I see..    unfortunately as I have mentioned to others before.... due to my advanced age, and required medications, if I do to much turret turning I actually get dizzy   Not recommended.  So unless I'm between the proverbial rock and a hard place, I'll just be shooting where I'm driving too.. :)   Makes me think some people can't drive... to busy doing turret gymnastics.

Because Magnum is so jOPZVOOk.jpg I will not inflict it on anyone else, when I won't play against it.

It adds nothing to a battle, just slows it down as people run for cover. :(

Behold the Deathstar in all its glory. Anyone who looks at this tank and says it looks stupid will instantly be punished for up to 2,500 damage in a single shot. And even if you don't get high rolled by its HESH you get ammo racked instead.

Hmm........Sounds interesting and looks interesting but...............Meh i Don't play world of tanks :P.so...........

But then there's me with a Wasp Magnum, rushing the enemy base and terrorising them from within  ^_^

I have an idea about an alteration. I think everyone remembers how Isda had vampirism before an update removed it. I say that it's time we bring it back again except as an alteration. The pro is that u get to have vampirism but the con is that the turrets damage and repair feature is decreased. This alteration is for isda M- whatever (the gamemakers can choose). But I say lets start this alteration at m1. 50k should be the price.

I think Isda should be equipped with vampirism again just as an alteration with the pro being YAY I get to suck the life out of some and live a bit longer! But then have the con be Awwwww, I can't deal and repair as much damage as I used to be able to do.
