Guys, do you remember buying Railgun in your low-ranked account, MUing it a bit and one shooting noobs with light hulls? This is what this alteration was meant for, and it's just fine.

Yes .

 

 

Nerffing the alteration could make rail balanced instead of OP gun ... But the rail with out alt are sucks weakkkk and on top of that protections ?!?!?!?! Railgun is dead useless gun .

 

 

I suggest nerffing the alt and buffing railgun min DMG by 10% or 7% to remove light hulls by 3 shots .

oh yeah it's such a dead gun ,that's why the whole game is using it , people like dead guns cuz they're so cool.

Railgun is the most annoying gun in the world and its alterations should be reworked.

 

Longer reload is absolutely NO PROBLEM for Railguns which hide behind walls. Even if they had 40 second reload like KV-2 in WarThunder, they would use it because of ability to 1-shot everything so Isidas would be useless.

 

The Railguns sometimes stay hidden even for a half minute so the alteration should shorten the reload and lower the damage. That would motivate the Railguns to NOT STAY HIDDEN FOREVER until my Shaft shoots and to use heavier hulls.

 

Do you non-shafters even imagine how frustrating is to wait for the railgun to peek out... And it peeks exactly when I am targeting or I already shot another enemy.

Meh, I never use the alteration. Having faster reload and lower damage is much better, since every missed shot has a lower impact on your overall performance. The high caliber ammo is only good for getting kills in DM or if you have a daily mission for kills.

Back then, when I used Railgun in normal battles, Shaft was one of the top 3 annoying guns to me. It's something mutual.

Rail alt doesn't need a nerf, all it does is give you pre-october 2016 rail A.K.A the Real Rail. It's supposed to make it alot more powerful that's why its so expensive

other turrets' alts are so expensive yet so useless , it's a flawed logic

Your excuses that it was the old railgun is not valid. The old railgun was OP that they nerfed it. 


Oh please. Each and every tanker out there uses railgun protection. That easily solves this problem. It's not OP. It's pretty balanced!!

Oh please. When I post a thunder nerf thread, everyone says everyone uses Thunder module. When I post a railgun nerf thread, everyone says everyone uses Railgun module. -_-

I like fighting some Shafts, I make them wait, they are focused on me and then they get killed by one of my friends, or if they get distracted i shot them.

 

Your K/D is very low, I suggest you to not confront Railguns or other turrets like you do now, instead you make them wait. Join battle where you are one of the high ranks, and join winning teams.

what's so OP about +50% reload but only +40% damage..

 

seems obvious the OP alteration is that one with +20% reload but +25% damage

Which one is that?

It's THE alteration. It's actually OP. Legit allows you to easily one-shot light hulls without DP and easily one-shot unsuspecting medium or heavies with DP. When was the last time I've seen a railgun without this alteration on?

Pretty much every alteration in the game sucks except for this one, and I don't see why the most favored turret in the game should have it. 

Not many people will support this nerf because practically everyone uses it. The stats itself don't look menacing but it's stupidly OP. 

Not powerful enough it should be buffed! I make a M2 as powerful as a M3+ which is good for free-player.

Especially that everybody has protection module against rail-gun.

If a player buys this alteration we are talking about, he / she can forget offensive gameplay -> player can only play as camper -> 1 tank less in center of battlefield -> slower game.

Why to camp?

If you are going to wait for a railgun 6 seconds to reload, and possibly miss, you can't attack. I dont think that we need more campers. I only rent that alteration on Halloween to make 300 kills in DM mode by camping. It is a strong weapon if it is in good hands, but almost everyone got protection against it. We have Trio protection modules, so buy any that has Railgun prot. Also, in not in all maps are all turrets used. For example:  Highways has got 50% campers. So, if I go to Highways a lot, I will buy module that has protection against Shaft, Railgun and Thunder (it exists, idk name). There are also a lot other modules. And let's say Bridges. There are mostly Twins, Smokies, Ricos and Hammers, maybe 1 or 2 Railguns. Also not everyone got alteration. DPS of non alt M3+ Railgun is: 1200/4=300. DPS of alt M3+ Railgun is: 1680/6=240, 60 damage less. Teoreticaly, it is weaker, depends on your play style.

High caliber ammo has longer reload

Who cares about longer reload if you are not dumb enough to miss a normal shot and if you can one shot the enemy instead of taking the time for 2 shot?

Guys, remember Firebird M2 when the alterstion used to be 300% and now it’s 100%? Railgun is noob w/o alts. If it rlly needs a nerf, just make the damage a bit less and the reload a bit less :)

That brings back both fun and bad memories. :LOL: Firebird was only useful with that alteration then because it basically had 0 afterburn at that time.

I think the alt need to be reworked .

 

Make the alt different like extra aim power and prenteing power buff or something like that .

 

 

And make current rail SIMILAR to the old rail by buffing its min DMG .

Alts are supposed to keep the turret balanced while changing gameplay. If the alts are required to make the turret viable, then the problem is with the original railgun and not the alts.
