I'm sorry Maf, let me clarify: A fully charged M4 Shaft shot without Double Power deals 3000 damage. When you equipped with "Executioner", it deals 6000 damage when aiming at the turret's body.

 

But to avoid Magnum complaining (since a Shaft can aim on his/her barrel), no damage bonus.

Uhh, so basically no disadvantage whatsoever - just huge double bonus when hitting the tank in a specific place in sniper mode? You definitely need to think of more disadvantages, which are MUCH more serious, like 50% less damage for all other types of shots or longer reload, etc. But don't forget that we already have the Heavy Capacitors alt, which is basically the same as you suggest, minus the part with hitting the hull specifically.

and most of us already hit the hull, which was my point, and technically it will also be able to destroy a juggernaut in a single snipe  :wacko:

Well, Juggernaut is a different story. You can already one-shot him with a single Striker salvo and Booster drone.

I like the alteration itself. But the damage is toooooo much in my opinion even if the reload time has been increased that much. Another thing is that, 100% is just like saying go ahead and kill me xD

Ok here are the disadvantages:

 

Laser appears immediately when entering sniper mode

 

Reduce sniper shot impact force by 50%

 

Increase recoil by 2x

A bit better, but impact doesn't matter if your instantly killed xD its suddenly not a problem anymore.

Smoky alt - Modified gun breach

 

Smoky with Modified gun breach would shoot better ammo but would not be able to shoot crits and it would reload slower.

+20% damage
+10% impact force
+10% recoil
+10% reload
No crits

This altered Smoky would be very consistent and it would not depend on luck like standard Smoky. It would be good at every range just as standard Smoky. It would have less DPS so it would not be OP.

but... smoki is supposed to have luck :X

this would do 504-780 with only 1.65 reload and 363 impact at M4, kinda sounds OP in my opinion, if you want a smoki with more damage and no crits just get thunder with small-caliber charging, its pretty close to what your proposing.

how would this be good at every range just like normal smoky? without critical the damage decreases by half at far range.

Smoky and Thunder have more DPS than Rail so they are able to compete Rail even beyond their max range. Some players even do not expect to be snipe-killed by Smoky or Thunder because they think that 50% damage is 'bad' and 'useless'.
