How You Came Across Tanki Online

Everyone has their own story of how they came across or got introduced to Tanki Online. This is where you can share how you came across Tanki Online with your fellow tankers, and make it sound a bit artistic!! This is how I came across TO twice(Once in 2011 and another in 2019):

"It was in the month of April 2011, a clear and sunny day. I was in my lawn, browsing through the web for some action-filled games. I already was into Call Of Duty:Black Ops but it wasn't the game I always dreamed of, cause I never like games in which you shoot people(I was an emotional little kid who couldn't tolerate violence even in films). I happened to pass through a website named miniclip.com and searched the whole of it for nice games but couldn't find a single online game. As I was about to leave the website, my eyes fell upon a game called Tanki Online. I was not interested to play it in miniclip, so I typed Tanki Onlie(seriously that's what I really typed!!) in google. I came across a game of Tanks!!  but lo!! the interface looks so good and realistic..."

"From then began my career in TO. I had created 7 accounts, each of which I reached a rank of Generalissimo(which was the highest rank in the game as of 2012). I had played the game until 2014, when our family had to move to a place where internet facility wasn't good enough for an online game. I was literally in tears, cause at last I found a game which met my expectations!! and lo I cannot play it anymore!!"

I had thought that, that was the end of me playing TO. I tried hard to forget about TO and succeeded in it, but you know ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE!!! It was around 2019 when a miracle took place!!! As I wasn't aware of the new games released in 2014-2019 I was....

"It was the month of September 2019, a dull and cloudy day. I was surfing through web for some new games and I came across......

...and I was...

...literally in tears. A long lost game of mine!!(well not really owned by me) It was then when I created this account(my 8^thone) and decided to never stop playing TO"

Well this is how I came across TO, I might sound silly and dumb for some, but you know the moment I came across TO once again, it really was an emotional moment, and you know every time I log into the game it really makes me nostalgic.

My two best friends were playing it while I was sleeping over at theirs, we were around 10 years old. Not too long after, my brother made an account and as a result I made one as well

A friend of mine, about 2-3 years younger to me, once told me rather excitedly about a game called "Tanki" online. I was sure he had mispronounced. I asked him again, gently. He repeated "Tanki" online, and I laughed. It sounded so stupid. 

But I went home that day and created an account. That's it - here I am now...

I know it sounds weird to most non-Russians, but in Russian "tanki" is literally just plural form of "tank" (i.e. tanks).

And not one I entirely regret, but sometimes I count up the hours I have played since that day (four accounts) and wonder if I could have spent them on something more useful, like knitting

In 2014 was looking for tank games on Miniclip, found TO and was super hyped. This was my first 3D multiplayer lol

A friend of mine introduced me to the game, we played a lot together until he decided to quit.. Now he regrets that because he thinks I am addicted.

I was love anything about tanks! I love tanks games I love tanks...  so in mid of 2012 my brother told me that he found a game for tanks, I immediately went to him watching him playing after that I continue playing with his account, then after maybe some weeks I turned into someone other account lastly after maybe more than one month I created my first account "alkyng" (wrong spelling of "The King") exactly in 2012/7/17, for sure I didn't remember the date exactly also in that time I wasn't give a care to the date but I think in 2015 there was a bug in Shop tell you exactly the time you registered soo

I was in 6th grade and the technology class was my last class of the day. During dismissal, I saw a guy from the robotics club or something go into the classroom and logged onto the school computer. He played Tanki and I watched and thought it was a pretty cool game XD.

Also....starting from when I was in 9th grade, Tanki and every game except the Cool Math Games website was blocked on school computers.
