Emojis and Reactions Update

Hi everyone!

Today we added two new reactions to the forum: "Hmm" and "Agree"

"Hmm" is a reskin of the previous "Confused" reaction, and we believe that this will make it more relevant and appropriate.
"Agree" is for situations where you agree with something a user said, but you don't necessarily "like" it.

The current selection of reactions is as follows:

We also added "Legacy Emotes" to the emoji list. You can find it at the bottom of the list, or select the appropriate category from the menu:

These are emojis from the old forum engine, which many of the older users came to love and cherish over the years, so this is our opportunity to use them again

You can also memorise and add these (as well as any other) emojis via the direct code. For example, typing :phЗ4r: will result in ""

There is another small change worth mentioning. Typing ASCII emoticons no longer automatically turns them into emojis, so don't be surprised if :) and :D no longer changes into "?"

This is mostly to prevent situations where it's impossible to make a list without having b) turning into the "cool" emoji.

That's all for now. Tell us what you think about those changes and we can make further improvements if necessary!

Yay!

I noticed that "Agree" is a positive reaction...

Feels good to have more choices while reacting...

It's a good thing that the <Confused> reaction was removed, because it was not really used in a polite way in my opinion. As mjmj5558 also mentioned, many users used it as an alternative "Dislike". And the emote was a bit too much... xD

@Maf it seems that you influenced the addition of Legacy emotes... ;)

And finally, @Sacrifice would be happy, that the typed "emotes" don't get converted into visual emotes... (Valid Completed!)

:D :) ;) B)
