16v16 seems fun.

I'm just concerned about one thing — supply duration is way too brief for maps like Berlin. Might have to resort to using Supplier drone, but either way I feel like CTF will be ruined. Other modes will probably be more fun though. Looking forward to trying larger maps in MM anyway.

Wow, 16v16? I'm sure there'll be heavenly lags... I guess I'll keep MM limited to mobile... (Potatoes aren't designed to handle such loads, ya'know) 

But it'll be fun to play on large maps, oh yeah...

16 x 16 might not be good . seeing more players just sitting around not being able to get any kills . also in Juggernaut the jug wont be able to hide with all those tanks attacking all at once. for the other battles if hopper and its OD is not weaken then it will end up being a fully loaded hopper battles . with the OD stopping players and jumping over head to fly away from attacks. besides that 16 in battles would be hard to get players in or to even stay when score is near finished . score counts also need to be changed in order for a longer game .

This is a really good point, if they increase to 16v16 we definitely would need some changes with the missions, getting top-3 will become twice as hard so those missions will be next to impossible if they are not changed - it needs to become top 6.

In addition to that, missions to capture flags/score goals etc. will become wayyyyy harder. It is hard to be the one player of 16 in Rugby - for instance - to score a goal, but being the one player of 32 is going to be very hard indeed. Such missions will need reduced requirements or increased rewards.

Could be fun but missions will definitely need some adjustments!

Well, that update about 16vs16 is bad. A lot. We already waiting a lot to join in a match, imagine if we are going to have 16vs16. We are going to wait for more than an hour. This update is not going to be good at all

It already takes a full 3 minutes to look for battles in unpopular modes like Assault, how exactly will we be able to do so after battles become 16v16???

Twice as many people have to be found, it will literally take the equivalent of two battle lengths to find a battle to play in...

 

Not to mention, with 16 player teams, there will be SO many complaints about the impossibility of earning stars, because there's twice as many people fighting for the same spots in the battle list as before...

I'd STRONGLY advise doubling the number of places that receive more than the basic stars during this test; as I mentioned before, the Forum topic associated with the test will be flooded with complaints about this issue if you don't.

 

The longest I've ever gone without this game is a week or so, but it's looking like I will double my previous record as this update comes out because I will have such a low desire to play under the experimental battle characteristics...

I don't like the idea of 16v16. 6v6 was already a good size, and makes 8v8 feel crowded. I know that the really large maps are being brought out for this experiment, but it's still too many people IMO.

Overly optimistic, I know, but I seriously hope the devs reconsider this second experiment.

Maybe, super sized maps will be introduced. Since the player base is going to be 16 vs 16, some players with slow laptops will lag, so remember to turn down your graphics settings to low. My PC is an 8 core processor so it will cope with high graphics settings when this experiment starts.

If Dusseldorf and Lost Temple maps are added to the pool of matchmaking maps, it is going to be fun playing on them.

The majority of players will be playing TDM in all modes.  This is the exp they should have shorten battles, not the 6vs6.  Tedious is the word that comes to mind for this coming exp, but we will see (like it or not).

Heavy Netflix for a couple of weeks :)

Some omnipotent top brass bluntly said 3-4 years ago that the game was still a demo and that the devs are working to turn it into a real game, but we still have tests and unbalanced rebalance, so here we are still playing a demo...:ph34r:
