Equipment-Specific Battles (non-format)

Hello Tankers!

I recently made a Shaft-only battle, and even typed "English pls" in the battle name. Well, the first player who joined had equipped Gauss-Wasp (no surprises), but (surprisingly) 15% Shaft protection. So he wasn't exactly illiterate (though one can't say for sure...). But thankfully, a friend of mine joined the battle on my invitation, and changed to Shaft (only after killing me once with Railgun). Then a couple of players joined with Shaft already equipped (Victory unto me!), and I frankly couldn't contain my joy.

Well, this whole episode wasted precious minutes of my life, in which I could've... never mind. Let's not get into what I couldn't have done.

But the point is, I don't want to waste my time threatening or insulting any mults who join battles without reading the battle name, and refuse to change equipment once joined. Or worse, I don't wanted to be exposed by smarter players who understand English (brrr), and deliberately join battles to increase their K/D ratio.

 

So I've decided to find other players with similar interests and problems, in order to create custom battles without time-wasting interruptions. 

Now I am a player who has all equipment (except drones and protection modules. Augments are automatically included in the exceptions lol), and I love to play with all equipment. I use my best equipment in MM, but in Pro battles I tend to experiment with other fun combos.

In case you wish to play battles like Magnum-Titan only, or Ricochet-Wasp only, etc. please let me, and others like us, by replying to this topic. I'll try my best to include most, if not all, of the interested players in any fun battles we make in the future, depending on availability, ranks, etc.

 

I'm really tired of all those multy incidents, and I really want to enjoy playing with other equipment, without wasting my energy on fighting fools.

Hopefully, things will work out well, and we'd have at least 1 good battle every week/fortnight.

 

P.S. I'm about to rank-up to Brigadier (on an alt, SHREYA88) in the next few days (or week), and I might be able to play with Legends also. So I think ranks won't be much of a problem, thanks to alt accounts.

I think pro-battles nowadays didn't have that good amount of players, so splitting them more into selcted equipment, will make it more harder to find players, especially now with HTML5 it's something hard to go to garage and back to battle list

Approximately we don't need more than XP/BP, as this is the most famous game mode, and players were playing with these battle from ages before they implement it... Also devs said explicitly they didn't accept idea for Wasp-Fire mode.. so we will put it in exception. Btw, I share with you also my angry of those who neglect everything in the battle, you don't understand what they want.

To be honest, thats me when I see XP/BP maps, I intentionally equip Falcon module, and go to ruin it for them, for sure I always get a respected number of insults

I like this concept, to be honest. Equipment specific battles have been a thing lacking in this game. Outside of xp/bp and xcr, there really aren't many modes. Plus I always get so fed up of the noob firebirds that fill up so many battles.

At higher ranks there are a considerably a lot more players than in lower ranks.

tbh, until now there are a lot of these battles.

I love this game mode, cool mode. But I hate the XP/BP players themselves, why? cuz if you entered profile one of them, you will see incredible amount just for Railgun - Hornet/Wasp. and they think the game is just hornet railgun. Usually when someone try to challenge me in 1v1 I reject immediately. As I know it's just would be xp/bp, and I'm not a noob with Railgun. but for sure I couldn't fight one who spent their whole time just in Railgun - Hornet / sandbox.. In the same turret in the same hull in the same map with the same map seetings, everyday.. so for sure he will rekt me immediately

The map was Brest, btw... xD

Yeah, compared to MM, Pro battles do have less players... but there are quite a lot of players who love playing Pro battles. That includes me. It's hard to find players, agreed. But that's exactly why I'm reaching out to other Pro battle lovers out there on the Forum!

My friends list is very peculiar: I have Forum friends, XP/BP players, and Parkourists. I might start adding Pro-battle lovers too sometime.

Yeah HTML5 is kinda hard to navigate, but they've recently added an update where we return to the battle-description window after leaving the battle. So that's really helpful.

It's quite popular, no doubt, but there is a significant number of Pro battle players that don't like XP/BP and like to play with different combos. I personally love XP/BP, but I love playing with different combos even more.

You know, that happens quite frequently to me. Once I created a Thunder only match and I typed "Please follow the turret specification " in English and Russian. But then joined a smart dude who had Railgun and with 30% protection against Thunder. Well he was quite an amateur in Railgun and of course I kicked his butt full size.

Now that you have asked to mention, I'll join any battle with any equipment specifications, anything except TWINS. Seriously! that does not sound like the pro me!

In addition to this, we need a format in which you can't use Magnum. It is probably too late though because this game is dying so fast, especially PRO battles.

My dear friend, I have created this topic so that Pro battle lovers get a platform where they can reach out to other players who are interested in playing equipment-specific battles.

All you have to do is declare your availability, rank, and preferred combo (and battle settings too, if needed), and wait for others to express their interest. Then you or anyone else creates a suitable battle, and enjoy!

So if you don't want Magnums in battle, just say so! Whoever agrees will join you!

And we already have format battles, none of which allow Magnum.

I assume you are referring to the Mortar augment of Magnum, and have no problem with the turret itself... in that case you can always turn Augments OFF...

Guys I wish to make things a bit clearer. 

You all can use this topic to reach out to other like-minded tankers who wish to play Pro battles with certain pre-defined equipment, in order to avoid incidents of players joining with wrong equipment and spoiling the fun.

Feel free to post your preferred settings for battles and mention the time (in UTC for clarity) at which you intend to play. Then you could create the battle and post the link here. Interested players would hopefully join in a short while. 

Or you could use this topic to make friends and plan future equipment-specific battles. Remember, the more like-minded friends you have in your friends-list, the higher are your chances of having memorable battles at a suitable time...
