Assault is hilarious right now. And by hilarious, I mean hilariously bad. The battles last 2 minutes with the defenders always winning, because there are far too many tanks, and by getting 1 point for each enemy killed, the cap of 70 points is reached extremely quick.

 

Who has designed this experiments exactly? A Drunk banana?

Crystal boxes that falls from a parachute in battles is such an amazing sight for me to see at my legend ranks because it feels like something exclusively new. I have noticed in this experiment that crystal boxes brings an experience gain boost and also helps you get some crystals when not being able to destroy an enemy. When you re-spawn, collect a crystal box and don't manage to destroy an enemy tank, at least you can be satisfied with the taking of that crystal box because it rewards you with a nice small fee of 10 crystals. I suggest that developers permanently keep crystal boxes falling from the sky for all ranks. That includes Legend ranks too.

However, I do wish that crystal boxes would give battle points as well because if you are unable to make enough battle points simply because you struggle to destroy players, you can still earn 10 points by collecting crystal boxes. I see that crystal boxes are very useful because they give 10 crystals and 10 experience points. Gold boxes are very rare and only one player can collect it, so when all the players jump for hunting gold boxes, its very difficult to collect them. The good news is that those blue crystal boxes have 50/50 chances of either being taken or ignored, whilst gold boxes have 100% chances of being taken and 0% chances of being ignored.

Like I said earlier, big maps and huge teams can be improved by adding 20 vs 20 players instead of 16 vs 16 players. The reason why I say this is because by having 20 vs 20 players would better fill the gaps on huge maps like Deathtrack, Berlin and other huge maps. I know that the Berlin map is not available for play in this matchmaking pool of maps in this experiment, but still, the maps are still some of the maps are very big and feel kind of empty because there are only 16 vs 16 players instead of 20 vs 20 players in matchmaking team battles. For example, the Yorkshire map and other similar huge maps feels kind of empty because they lack players. Those big matchmaking maps would be much better off by having 20 vs 20 players which would fill up the empty spaces in those battles.

If 20 vs 20 players are added after this experiment ends, then that would make it easier for players playing on big matchmaking maps to have less wasted time having to drive along the map to find an enemy to kill. Players will have more enemies to see and capture on those big maps and make more kills and the battle fund would grow larger, and each player would earn more crystals when the matchmaking battle ends.

As for the FPS and overall gameplay, everything runs smoothly on my PC with the graphics settings set up to the maximum highest possible graphics settings in the Tanki Online settings menu. My PC is an AMD Ryzen 7 with a 8 core processor and a graphics card of 6GB integrated graphics. To boost this up, I also have 16GB of RAM in my PC installed. My PC has a maximum RAM capacity of 64GB, so I will always have the hope in the future to further boost my PC's RAM if needed. Tanki Online is one of the smoothest running games on my PC in terms of performance.

I also play, Universe Sandbox and Space Engine which are very (graphic hungry) simulators. My PC with its current 16GB RAM and other specifications can handle all of that. I am one of the luckiest players being able to play any power hungry games. Tanki Online will always be a fan favourite game for me and I will always continue to play it until its final days. For the best, I hope that Tanki Online will continue to live for as long as possible so that we can all enjoy cool battles and updates. Enjoy Tanki Online and thank you all for reading this thread.

The one thing i don't like about this update is the use of 20/20 crisis and hopper 20/20 its so annoying to have one of those in the battles. It just takes the fun out of the battle.

Takionline is clearly making fun of the players. Now I will not be able to play for 16 days.

I never play big cards.

The only good thing about the previous experiment was the small cards.

The main problem with these boxes is that they distract players from gameplay and cause conflicts between those wanting to run around and collect boxes and those trying to play the objective. I know you don't agree with this and I know you will want to argue in favour of crystal boxes, but it just cannot happen at higher ranks, where gameplay is more intense and focused on victory.

plz remove this, It is getting very hard to score points, or flags, or rugby ball, the game is getting very weird and honestly I like the idea of the update but the objectives of the game like ctf & rugby are just getting harder and harder.

I really dont care much for this new test for a coulpe reasons,every mode feels like a DM and no one really plays the battle mode and the amount of campers or participation of team mates in battle.

Now the game is just shooting, shooting, shooting.... nothing else... no tactic, no strategy, no team play.... another disgusting test.... stop please..... simply let us play and don't break our b.......

So I've just given up. I downloaded the HTML5 client and it barely works. It's impossible to enter a battle. I have plenty of space on my laptop too.

Allora come suolsi dire si stava meglio quando si stava peggio, il gioco dopo questi cambiamenti ,e con la chiusura di flash ,é diventato problematico FPS ,anche abbassando i valori al minimo, viaggia sempre su arancione o rosso con conseguente suo blocco ,sbaglierò ma influisce anche l'esagerato numero di giocatori. Spero che tutto questo come è stato scritto sia solo un test provvisorio dunque è tragedia. Sul fattore scatole cristalli vanno bene sino ad un certo punto perché molti invece che combattere vanno a caccia delle scatole interferendo a questo modo nello svolgimento del gioco e disturbando anche chi sta combattendo.

Is the 32 players just an experiment or permanent?

It is interesting  but nearly all maps are too small to accommodate it. Would like to know what advantages people see in it.

In my opnion

1. Tanki online shoud give option to players for choosing between 8v8 and 16v16 battles

2. Add more maps in MM whch are in pro battles atleast as tanki devs never gonna make new maps.

3. Increase the time for battle

4. Do something for ASL mode 

Everything else is good and i am enjoying it.

BIGGEST PROBLEM i've faced is the GARAGE! Setting the Protection Modules is a nightmare. Need to do twice. Or it goes haywire; i take out the PM and it says i can't change yet but removed one of my PM. I've set low resolution to improve the performance but its marginally better.

I love that maps have been added to the circulation.  It has been long overdue to add maps to MM.  I love that the size of group has been increased to 4.  (I think it could be even bigger with 16v16.)  Some modes are more fun like CP, Seige, TJR.  I sincerely appreciate the work devs have done to make these changes.

Capping in CTF/RGB/ASL is very difficult, so much so that you are heavily incentivized to just kill people in defense or midfield.  If you are finally able to get into opponent's base, you are hit with a hopper, hunter, or viking OD or are frozen or burnt or AP'ed or EMP gaussed.  There are too many weapons and, more importantly, too many status effects to protect against that make you effectively dead.  You really need to score early because once ODs are active, chances of scoring are greatly reduced.

If you change some parameters of the game you have to think about all the changes that have to go along with it.  I think

  • The time of matches should be longer for bigger maps.  e.g. 5 min on small.  7 min on medium.  10 min on large.
  • Size of team should be related to size of map.  e.g. 6 on small.  8-10 on medium.  12-16 on large.
  • The score for capping in CTF, RGB, and ASL and killing/wounding JGR should be increased for more players/bigger maps.
  • The charging rate of all ODs should be reduced, especially for hopper.
  • If more players are in battles, really need to allow more protections. e.g. 4 or 5 modules and 2+ hull augments. 

I'm sure people with Spectrum are especially :) right now.
