Melee weapons already have an advantage when you get close.

If you can't beat a camper up close you need to improve your equipment and/or revise your strategy.

Unless you equip Defender you are dying every 30 seconds (or less).  How is respawning that often fun?  ?

Even 8 vs 8 on the smallest MM maps is crowded.

Maybe if developers increase the size of small maps and large maps to midsize and shorten the respawn time, then 16 vs 16 could work. The developers could also add extra armor points on light hulls.

For me the day past very well.

I did the missions and almost immediately stopped playing and just now I feel fine,

have a nice joy with not playing game.

I am in Nirvana.

I feel relaxed and not addicted to the game like some junkie who must play because of playing.

Thank You Tankionline what you did for me, to stop being addicted to the game.

Including Barda is just dumb.  It's a Medium sized map.

I envision all maps to be resized to midsize. It seems balanced at medium than small or large which I believe are on the extreme ends of size. It is not too big and not too large and therefore suits all turrets and hulls. Then we can set a fixed number of players on midsized maps.

He is absolutely right tho. I tend to run wasp almost exclusively these days so my bomb is useless unless I can get up close. I just make sure I'm never/rarely indirect line of fire and instead use back roads to close the distance. If you are playing fire/freeze, use your speed to outflank the enemy and ambush them in their backfield. A fully drugged fire among a bunch of campers with armor that has expired can wreck the campers

Just have different number of tanks based on map-size.

The structural design of the map also matters. Some maps are multi-leveled which means there are bridges above and buildings deep in the terrain below the bridges. Dimensionally speaking, resize the maps at a medium size. Now if they took midsized maps and build upwards which means the introduction of bridges above, then the map could technically support 16 vs 16. The height and depth of the map also matters. The developers need to redesign maps so that players are spaced out.

Some dont like Berlin, but one thing I love about it is how battle take place in different areas at different times. Perhaps at one point you have a heave firefight in the big courtyard across the bridge, or another time there is a fight to take and hold the bridge, or perhaps a third time, a raid sneaks around a ambushes all the campers in the back. This can only happen due to map size and player number.

I am trying to make ends meat by stealing flags from the enemy base and I find it impossible to do that today. I have only 4 flags captured for my special mission. I cannot even manage to get 1 flag. I need 15 flags to complete that mission. Can anyone help me?

Had a blowout on 2042 CTF. It was absolute chaos, 0-3 something but either way, a crazy blowout. Did bad at the end as bad as 2 kills 13 deaths.

But in the next CTF battle on Highways, I was playing decent.

This experiment has not enhanced my Tanki experience. The new 16 Vs 16 battles make for a rather overcrowded match, and it's hard to achieve game objectives, such as scoring goals or capturing flags. What's more is that quite often I find myself playing against players ranked significantly lower than myself. I can imagine that playing against legends would be hard for such players, and this experiment worsens that gap. The part of this experiment I dislike the most is the maps. These long range maps tend to rob close ranged turrets of much use, and make even medium ranged turrets an annoyance to use. Additionally, these maps (such as Highways or Lost temple) are simply not very entertaining to play in. However, a map such as Scope is fantastic and offers players the opportunity to explore older, less seen maps. I think it would be fantastic if we could have more such maps (such as Novel, which is at least my favourite map) on offer. Perhaps each week a new set of maps which are diverse and offer different benefits for using equipment.

This is a good analysis. I disagree with a lot of it, but thats just my preference. What I do like about it is the suggestions for more maps. I do think most maps can work for all turrets with some exceptions...Iran for example is a nightmare unless youre spamming fire. I do agree tho that there are so many amazing maps and adding them into the mix is great. Some of these maps have nostalgic feel to them since they stopped being used long before I started playing. If magnum was banned I'd love seeing noise added since it seems to have once been popular

CTF Missions are now VERY HARD. Even if i manage to get the flag, i am surrounded by my own team members trying to get me killed to take the flag from me. Internal Politics from my own team with 16 is now more complicated.

No medium map, regardless of "levels" can support 16 vs 16.  At any given time there will be 6-8 tanks within striking distance of their own flag.  Makes capping just ridiculous unless there's unbalanced teams - and that just means blow-out.

What is your fixation with homogenized map sizes?

Berlin is fine.   Just needs more time on the clock. 

Get 1 cap on that map and you can go in defensive shell and win when you only have 6.5 minutes to do the battle.

Found a MUCH easier way to get flags Riddler. Do the Themed Special old but gold mode. Finished all the flags in an hour.

on fast machine, 16vs16 is fun, like old tanki

on slow machine, 16vs16 is lagging, bad

Dusseldorf is favorite old map, the largest with a maze for hide and survive,

defender drone is must to survive if you are carrying the flag, also, defender drone speed up reload of DA supply when using other supply, so your DA is almost always on, a must for holding the flag.

of course, criss drone is better, but not easily available,

those flag stealer in 16vs16 is always a hopper with defender or criss drone. climbing on wall and run like fly

I believe medium sized maps would be best for all hulls and turrets. It's not a map too large or too small. Overall, the map needs to at least include two levels of terrain, either play high or play low.

Need different types and sizes.  Both for strategy and equipment.

Else it would get boring fast.

On MM, get a variety of different map size and taylor the number of players. Big map, large number, small map smal number ( Bridges 8v8).

Kungur would be better 10x10.

Welcome to the real world, not nice when things don't go your way is it. I think they should make it even harder, just for legends though, no other rank, that is your fav saying is it not...just for legends....

Lol hoppers getting wiped out all over the map ha ha think it's a great experiment so far.....poor hoppers just to many tanks aiming at them....RESULT....
