Goodbye, Flash!

This event mode is great, but the players playing it are not.  They are hack and bash MM robots only used to insipid Agario like luck/drug/OD MM style play.  In a battle that requires strategy and some finesse, they are clueless and completely lost.  These new players to strategy (let's call them M&Ms) could learn, improve, and would probably love playing a real tank game, but they can't do much in just two days.

This mode alone, if implemented on a long term basis, might turn Tanki around and bring back some of the old players and maybe even attract new players.  This event mode points out just how terrible and insipid Neo-Tanki and it's foul MatchMaking style game-play has become over the years.  It's no wonder Tanki has lost hundreds of thousands of players with the new childish MM style of game-play.

If this event mode can be used for a couple of days, why not incorporate it or something similar to it into the game in an ongoing basis.  Parity between players without all the magic foo-farah of Neo-Tanki makes for a great game.  There just must be some way to have our current style MM Tanki along with some more serious and strategic version coexisting.

It has been fun with the Hopper event, the Juggernaut event, and now this XP event, but events are not long enough to hone the skills needed for real enjoyment.  And each event require a somewhat different skill set along with more time to develop those skills.  An event every few weeks is better than nothing, but it isn't nearly enough to satisfy that Real Tanki urge.  Please please please incorporate something similar to these event modes (some kind of parity mode) into the normal everyday Tanki...make it part of the mission and MM roster.  I believe it would go a long way to making Tanki a great game again.  There has to be some way to structure it that would even make Tanki more money.

I miss this type of game-play so much.  It is so much better, it makes playing normal MM trash battles almost painful...especially with this 16vs16 lunacy.

As soon as I played my first battle of 16v16 MM, I didn't think there was any way for me to complete these missions and I lost interest.

Well, it turns out that the event mode counts for some of the missions, and capturing a flag there is much easier than in the 32-player mosh pit.

It's nice to get another limited-time paint, and I'll have fun showing it off once people stop using it.

I simply cannot play on my laptop - my head hurts due to the lags and frequent FPS drops.

How am I supposed to complete the <Hunter> mission on PC?

I don't understand why do kills made in the event mode count for the 300 kills with long-range turrets, but not for the 300 kills with Hornet. Makes no sense...

There seems to be no way to get the Flash paint unless I try and play with Hornet on mobile. Even then it might take ages...

So, as everyone knows, "Hunter" mission can't be completed on the special XP mode. Another problem is that I can't load into any other MM battle because when I try, I'm seeing just endless loading with an error at the end. Or in a rare case, I enter a battle and instantly get error, or just enter a battle for the last minute. So I'm gonna ask, how am I supposed to do the "Hunter" mission?

Hunter mission doesn't work in the special mode, unfortunately.

Is there any news when this will be fixed, because it will take ages finishing the tasks to kill 300 people?

They're not going to fix it, I advise you not to waste time and try to get those 300 kills (in my opinion, try using splash damage turrets like Thunder, Firebird, Gauss).

Please try lowering your graphics to minimum in the game settings. Refer to the image in the spoiler below.

Alternatively, you can try playing on the Tanki Mobile App found on Google Play Store. A few friends have reported that they face less lags and errors on mobile.

Thank you, but it doesn't really help. Loading is still taking forever and I still can't enter a battle. I don't want to play the mobile version because my "skill" is horrible on phone and it's going to take ages to learn how to play there.

Even Pocahontas waved goodbye to Flash. Snow White also waved goodbye to Flash.

Have you checked if the long load problem is caused by your Internet problem?

It shouldn't be internet problem, because everything related to internet connection works fine, even the client works as it should, but the loading is the only problem.

It would be good to have a Flash version of Tanki Online consisting of the original Tanki Online game that was released in 2009. At least, players would get to play with this nostalgic game of Tanki Online from 2009. Let's bring all the Tanki Online nostalgia from 2009.

WoT has done something similar, they released an extra client for an older version of the game to celebrate its birthday (I think) as a special event for like one week. I'm sure that Tanki could do it as well. Using Flash in the future is going to be risky, tho.

@Son_Goku

I know that Flash is risky, but keeping nostalgia for players that played the game in 2009, that would be very memorable and welcoming to such players. I would like to see how Tanki Online originally looked like on its first day of release in 2009, before any updates came. That would be a good thing for me and other players to experience how Tanki Online began.

To be honest, I like this XP/BP event. Long time haven't play in XP. I think I would to return to xp/bp after its players ruined its reputation in me. Maybe I will be a dangerous and addicted xp/bp player, I think after that my reputation would tarnished in the forums.

Riddler I want to strict on something.. taking a picture for old tanki from a new games that trying to simulate the old graphics isn't a correct thing (like gtanks in example).. the correct thing is to take a picture from a real old picture. because these pictured didn't looks like the old version, and with first look I can determine them.

@asem.harbi

Well, I got the picture from Google images. I do not exactly know how Tanki Online looked like in 2009 when it was released because I joined this game in 2015. If you have pictures of how Tanki Online looked like in 2009, please upload them here for me too see. I would like to see how the first turrets and hulls looked like when Tanki Online was released in 2009.

No, it's the same with your picture. but I think there are a fool differences in physics (look at the tank in your picture), also differences in quality/saturation. btw, I also wasn't play in 2009.. but I think it's something clear to differ. And I will give you an example of a real old tanki, and simulated fake tanki.

The first two are real old.. and third is a simulated

Btw, it's approximately the same, and maybe just a more details I focus in. and maybe the main detail you can differ, that the difference in quality for sake in simulated.. so the simulated ones have a better prominent quality. also when you read a "2009" word, Run away from it, mostly just simulated.

Also a bonus prominent thing to differ. The old pictures are taken in the middle from a real battle. But the new simulated, in real no one play really and rank up in the simulated version.

Also most of "2009" pictures are from 2012-2011 in real, because in 2009 the game was unplayable, also no skins for upgrades.. just an info

Me too, I can tell the difference between the real Tanki Online pictures and the simulated one. How do you know that Tanki Online was unplayable in 2009, if screenshots from real battles were taken during that time?
