Hello, contest lovers! Want to test your brain with some quick thinking? Then this contest is just for you!

Ah, helpers; we started out small and began looking for more ways to contribute. At first, we were merely reporters. In recent times, the EN Reporter team has expanded its realms towards other domains, such as the Social Media Team, the Wiki team, the Content Helpers, and even eSports. Hmm, what about admin. Does admin count too? Well, why am I telling you this? Because we might just be the key link to this puzzle: The Helper Chain!

unknown.pngTasks:

  • Build a chain that connects all Helper positions using its members and listing their Helper positions in abbreviated form in parentheses, starting from where you choose them.
  • Submit all your answers in the Google form here.
  • By entering this competition, your goal will be to find and link all of the Helpers posts in the English community and then submit your helper chain in the form.

r1m55pq.png?1 Rules:

  • You must be in good standing with the Rules of the Game.
  • You should only enter this contest with only ONE account.
  • Collaboration between players is NOT permitted.
  • Crystals will be awarded to the winners on the account from which they registered.
  • You are not allowed to choose to place admins in your channel, unless it is a Helper.
    • Example: @Person_Random can only be chosen as an eSports Helper or a Content Helper, not as an admin.
  • From the first Helper you chose, each Helper that will be on your chain must be a member of the previous Helper group mentioned in parentheses, otherwise it is no longer a chain. (See example above)
  • Your chain must be associated with all Helper groups except the "Battle Moderators" post.

NOTE: Content Helpers counts as one group, Event Organizers and Event Helpers counts as one group, and Contest and Parkour Contest Organizers are categorized under one group.

Infraction of any of these rules results in instant disqualification and in some severe cases, a ban from participating in Newspaper Contests in the near future.

Reminder:

  • The "Battle Moderators" group does not count in the Helpers list for certain reasons.
  • Your chain should only contain Helpers.
  • Content Team and any team with sub-groups are counted as one group.

CZKftSr.pngPrizes:

The 3 valid entries with the longest chains will receive the following prizes:

First place50,000 Crystals, 10 Containers, 5 Gold Boxes  ckBFg6Z.pngChiyPgD.pngzNxVDVA.png

Second place30,000 Crystals, 5 Containers, 3 Gold Boxes  ckBFg6Z.pngChiyPgD.pngzNxVDVA.png

Third place25,000 Crystals, 3 Containers, 2 Gold Boxes  ckBFg6Z.pngChiyPgD.pngzNxVDVA.png

Five more players who did not place in the top 3 but had a chain of longer than 5 helpers in a row will receive a prize of 15 000 crystals.

(Note: Winners will be announced after one or two weeks, as soon as the contest is over)

This is a quick contest, so don't forget to enter - you've only got a week!

Best of luck, and may the quickest thinker win!

Thank god this is a google form contest. All the pings would have driven me crazy.

Nevertheless, good job on contest idea. It is nice to see a unique concept. Interested to see how this goes. Best of luck to all the participants.

Do I need to mention helpers from all the positions or can I miss some positions?

You can miss some but your goal is to make the longest chain.

Please elaborate...

If I understood your question correctly, you're asking: "If a Helper has multiple positions (say, 4), can a participant mention only one of them in parentheses?"

Well, you have to mention any one of the non-admin positions of the Helper and then find another Helper who is in that group to continue the chain.

For example, Person_Random is a Content Helper and an eSports Helper. You can mention CH (Content Helper) in parentheses and then mention the next Helper (who has to belong to CH). If you mention EH (eSports Helper), then you have to find another eSports Helper to continue the chain.

I meant if I need to mention every single position... Sorry for not being clear ?

Well, I hope I answered your question in my previous post! You do not need to mention every single position. You can choose any one of the non-admin positions of a Helper as per your convenience (in case it helps you to get a longer chain ?). Refer to the example given in the main post. There, Person_Random hasn't mentioned all the positions of the Helpers in the chain (notice that most of the Helpers in the chain have multiple positions).

can you have 2 consecutive people from the same group eg:  T-B (EH) > Signal (EH).....

And do eSports officials and help site consultant count as helpers?

1. Yes since they share the same helper group, but the people next to them must share a helper positions with them.

For example:

Person_Random - eSports Helper + Content Helper

Sacrifice - Content Helper + Forum Moderator

Spy - Forum Moderator + Wiki Editor

and so on... each person in the chain must share a position with the next person in the chain.

2. Yes, eSports Officials under eSports Helpers and Help Site as a team.

47?! And I thought my 22 chain was good...

There are currently 10 helper positions excluding battle moderators. I don't know how you guys got over 10 Helpers in the chain. ? this contest is definitely unbelievable

@Dynasty correct me if I'm wrong but if there are multiple people with the same helper position could they not used in the chain for example T-B (EH) > Signal (EH) > Quebec (EH)

or can a helper position be used only once in the chain? Hence a chain where there are multiple event helpers consecutively in the chain as shown above causing these extremely long ones.

You should choose only one Helper per position. So yeah, basically 1 position should be used only once in your chain.
