Why nerfing the Shaft with a longer delay to shoot?

Now , as a Shaft i will spend more time hiding to wait for recharge instead of being exposed to fire. People will complain more about camping!   Not a good thing. 

Shaft has been nerfd in the past by closing most  long lines of fire on map, mostly with billboards.  We are seen with our lasers.  OD can show our position so there is no point getting cammo anymore.  We lost angling on our gun too. 

Now people have to use a sniper tool for playing quick fire at short distance.  Why would people buy a sniper gun if it is now mainly used for that?

Totally agree with my fellow clansman. Why do this?  Want less snipers? You don't like them? Do you not know your own game? You've forgotten how it was in 2015? Earlier you experimented with length of game - we all told you 15 min. was optimum, now you've come to the same conclusion after two years. Now this with the shaft - how long will we wait until you come back to your senses? Look, you've extended shoot delay, but the supply cooldown is the same, meaning we as shafts will use less supplies, because we won't have enough time to use them  - specifically double damage, or overdrive for Titan. Because you've introduced the childish silhouettes then aiming at another, hiding in bushes or camouflage are useless. By having the laser pointers when we miss everyone knows where we are and we cant really reply. The effect is others who have rapid or normal fire obliterate us.

My 6 years of playing tanki using shaft as my primary turrent has come to an end. You guys literally killed the SHAFT with and its of no use. I spent so much money upgrading, now its all come to an end. I'm quiting!!!

When a turret such as shaft is so radically changed  that it is no longer effective  there should be a method to compensate those affected. An exchange for another turret or some form of crystal compensation would be only fair and good business.  In reality the shaft turret is no longer the product that it was.  It is almost worthless in most legend battles. In the business world when a change like this occurs customers are given other options.  Basically Tanki says "To Bad!  Case closed".  This is not the kind of response or good customer service one would expect from a business that cares about its customers.  Shaft today... what wild hair will developers act on tomorrow?

Agreed.  Please return shaft to original reload settings. The much longer reload times are absolutely horrible for play and I can not understate how unpleasant this is.  It does not make me want to play anymore, including buying battle passes. MK7-20, Legend 7. Thank you.

I understand your point of view, and regarding your arguments, I totally understand them, as well respect them, but I assume this was done because Shaft is one of the only turret which can oneshot you as long as you spawn (after the protection ends), so the reason may be this one I assume. When you fully charge your turret, the damages will be higher, which can also kill an opponent easily, and in the real life, snipers are known to have a longer time to recharge, so in another way, I assume this was made in order to make it a bit more realistic, this is my theory.

What happened with shaft heavy capacitors augment??? if you have made some changes to checkout  so thats a no for that!!! you have to revert back the changes!! thats a worst stuff u have done!

Another day with shaft update and its useless ! use boosted damage with shaft FOR MAX 3 shots (ideally for 2) IS impossible !

Pre-nerf shaft was very op with very high damage output with its fast reloading. HC augment was especially abused thus one shooting sometimes tanks with eagles on and always one shooting unprotected tanks in sniping mode.

well, after the last update THE ONLY thing keeping me in this game is the friends i have. And thats is not much. ive played this game since 2010. and i am one update far from quitting. For good.
