Remove hopper from xp/bp

Remove hopper as an option when joining xp bp. It's a light hull but it ruins the concept of the format. It's been "xp" railgun-hornet and "bp" railgun-wasp. We dont need hopper in xp bp battles.

I don't care about Hopper. Tanki ruined xp/bp many times from its initials, not just this time with hopper.

Btw, sometimes I agree with Tanki about their acts in xp/bp. because there are players literally didn't play anything than xp. reach some of them 2000 hours just in xp/bp, and other turrets in really really rare occasions they play.

Technically, "XP" is just the RU acronym for Hornet Railgun (Хорнет Рельса), and if you replace Hornet with Hopper, it still fits the XP acronym ?‍♂️

Also, I don't see why Hopper can't be allowed in format battles. It's still just a light hull with similar speed and HP as Wasp and Hornet. Its only advantage is the increased stability.

It has different movement characteristics.  Quite different.  Trying to target it is not the same as targeting a hornet.

Its increased stability makes shots possible that you just can't take with Wasp or Hornet (+ you can't be flipped) and its increased maneuverability allows you to play around some spots Wasp and Hornet can't (edges etc.), allowing faster gameplay, since the other hulls could get stuck in such areas. Hopper has its own style in XP/BP, whereas Hornet and Wasp have basically the same one. So it just doesn't fit.

There would be no problem if it had its own format

Lol, but to be honest, the problem isn't in the name. The problem we completely didn't want to see Hopper in this gamemode, either its name fits or not.

I wouldn't mind having a mode for Hopper + Railgun only, it actually sounds fun. But allowing Hopper in XP/BP is not a good idea in my opinion, every time I see someone with Hopper in my battle I leave.

If you're driving to shoot someone from behind a wall, you can strafe sideways to do so. Combined with superior acceleration you'll be a much smaller target, your aim will be harder to knock off, and you'll be exposed for a shorter time. This means you can shoot anyone that peaks from behind a wall super easily while they can't do this to you. You are also impossible to flip and can manoeuvre easily without drifting or slowing down. You can even shoot mid-air without the risk of your opponent flipping you.

At long range even good players may miss it on open terrain as it strafes. It is not just a considerably than Hornet like Wasp is. It is way better than both.

And even if it were balanced, XP/BP is about Hornet/Wasp + Railgun. There is no place for hulls that play way differently.

But what's wrong with that?

Take me as an expample. I used to enjoy playing normal battles very much in 2014, even in 2017 I still had fun playing. Now that I have no fun in playing MM I still play XP/BP while I enjoy it. Do you think I'd move to MM if XP/BP was removed? I'd just quit, and so would others who only enjoy XP/BP.

That's what developers did, not me. If I had the choice maybe I would make xp/bp balanced for all, when you enter you get Mk7 Hornet-Railgun for all with LCR Augment.

When you don't like MM, you can play other battles in battle list, not must xp/bp. And you'd quit if xp/bp removed? I agree with you completely, if the fun goes, for sure the best thing to do is to quit.

Hello readers,

I want to tell my opinion about the new update that the hoppers can play xp/bp.

Hoppers have just ruined the xp/bp batlles because they are light hulls and they can move anyware because of the mouse controlls.

I have asked a lot of people and they have said that they don't like hoippers at xp/bp battles at all.

Take my suggestion to yor mind and please make it to the game too.

After facing Hoppers in XP/BP battles, I agree that shooting at a Hopper is not difficult, tbh, but very weird. You have to use a completely different approach. It gets on your nerves when you try to shoot at Hoppers like you would shoot Wasps or Hornets - they simply move differently and you miss your shot. The strafing ability is a major challenge.

But it also has disadvantages, the most noticeable one being the inability to swing/rock effectively. Even in maps like Sandbox, Hoppers tend to miss while aiming from the platform to a tank below. And vice versa.

Overall, I feel that we should adapt to the situation and use a new style while dealing with Hoppers. I agree that it's frustrating - but Hopper does make the XP/BP gameplay more exciting and dynamic (especially when it cannot jump and stun and burn... hehe).

It's called "xp/xp/bp". In xp/xp/bp, you are allowed to use Railgun with Wasp, Hornet, or Hopper.

Meanwhile, the current "xp/bp" we've known for years will only be limited to Railgun with Wasp and Hornet.
