Looks like the game is still working normal for NL/BE players. Normally I would enjoy playing this game this time of the year, but right now I don't. I just keep on leaving battles, as I'm not motivated at all to finish a battle. I had saved all my containers since TO birthday just to open them at Xmas. Had saved 120 of them, so decided to open them beforre I can't open them anymore. Got the well known useless supplies, paints, and some hull augments. Have a total of 1.4 million cry right now, but for what? Why should I spend them on something I can't use within a week time? No thanks Tanki. You've just ruined the game for me, and all the other NL/BE players. 

Merry Christmas for all players around the world, enjoy the game as I used to do.

Your not missing anything, as usual the (SPECIAL BUNDLES) are so OVERPRICED it constitutes as daylight robbery.

This one day more than any other day in the year, and the devs slap huge price tags on their special gifts to us the players.

They will never learn, their greed overshadows everything they could do to make at least an effort, and bring out 1 of the 3 bundles that is affordable to everyone.

I was looking forward to getting at least 1 bundle on 3 accounts, that would have been 3 bundles bought with cash. 

I can hear certain players now saying, they are special there is a huge % taken off, to those players, the % taken off was taken from a HUGE price to start with.

Only the die hard (hard core) buyers will get at least 1 if not 2 of these rip offs.

No % on ultras are coinboxes as usual, not that it matters, as both, especially the coinboxes are a complete joke.

£648.96 is what the cost of getting all the bundles is for 1 account. This is nothing compared to acquiring just 1 animated paint for the very reasonable price of £710.00

And 2 of the SPECIAL BUNDLES are for MK2, are they having a laugh, are they serious, at the very least for such a high price slapped on them they should have been MK7.

I no what many of you are going to say, but if the devs did that, then very very low ranks would have MK7.

Solution, separate bundles for marshal and above, if they want to put these ridiculous bundles out there, then make it worthwhile for players.

Are better still put bundles in the shop (at affordable prices) that are worth getting, like regular containers, and cry packs that would at least enhance a players garage by giving them the means to upgrade, are acquire supplies, are for those that like aesthetics ,XT, skins, etc.

As usual the devs have not disappointed, sky high prices for mediocre returns, in the form of MK2 combos and useless scamboxes.

And yes i no they are selling a bundle that has XT and skins, 1 of each, with 20 regular, and 21 ultras for the amazing how do we do it give away price of £66.99.

If you can't understand that they are ripping you off and sprucing it up with useless shot effects, skins, etc, then for you players i say this, you are a lost cause, and no amount of posting by any sensible player will sway (save) you from the doctrine that the devs spill out. They never do what is in the best interest of it's players, unless it's beneficial to them.

The devs do what is in the best interest for the devs, that is a fact they have displayed on numerous occasions.

It is sad that TO has went the way it has, i and many other players enjoy it immensely. But the fact remains, it has been managed by those who put PROFIT above everything else, with little to no compromise, and certainly with no regard to those players who get priced out and remain as always, CANNON FODDER for the fortunate few who can afford TO's pricey OP updates and shop items. 

I will always highlight the pros and cons of TO. I desperately want to highlight the positives, and on the rare occasion i have. Like when coinboxes FIRST came out, they were AMAZING, and WELL WORTH THE MONEY spent on getting them. Now sadly, they are rightly called by many players, myself included, SCAMBOXES.

This is exactly the right and responsible solution for Tanki Online right now. Close the shop until they can think of, and implement the right changes to make the game legal - but allow NL and Belgium players to play in the mean time.

Thinking of the right changes should not take too long - it is the right and proper responsible thing for Tanki Online to do to at least continue to allow the NL and Belgium players some of whom have invested years into their accounts, and spent a lot of money on the game (even as recently as Black Friday) to be able to play even without being able to buy anything until changes are made. Requiring players to play on a VPN with the same Shop system in place means that 1) players are required to purchase a VPN just to keep playing, or use "sketchy" free VPNs 2) Tanki Online is actively encouraging people to bypass the laws of their own country, which while I am not certain if there is a law against it, is not morally sound 3) Players playing from NL/Belgium can not make loot box purchases from the shop, and that is definitely 100% illegal - if they are able to bypass the laws then it is just a matter of the ability of their government to somehow find out about it, and someone - whether the player themselves or Alternativa - is going to get in trouble.

Just let them play for free until changes can be made, do the right thing Tanki.

For me the now normal "4X" is bad, and the 2X of the "4X" is insane. Since I'm not a Legend I'll try as much as possible to gain as little EXP as possible during this event/celebration.

Yes, the 8X is great for Legends, what else can I say... enjoy.

BTW, a Legend saying that 8X is bad for lower ranks is not being Hypocritical, it's actually the opposite of being hypocritical, unless they happen to have lower rank accounts, in that case they are probably neither.

This game could be one of the biggest if you guys put up fair matchmaking and give fair prices to  lower ranks and people unable to buy with real money if not some events, the rewards are reeally low and some kids just spent lots of money on the game to get on the same levels as the legends which they play against since the captain rank, fair right "NOT" please do something about that helps us have fun help you game grow. and try to publish the game on steam I am sure lots of kids will want to play it.  Oh one last thing the crisis drone is too much please nerf a little.

In my opinion, tanki needs to make everyone legends straight up with some degree of boost to the low ranks.

 

This isn't a good solution. But with the way things have gone... I dont really know.

 

I can attest that I personally as a legend go into games regularly and see double red star players, or triple red star players and above. So that is lieutenant colonel, and colonel and above. I also have lower accounts that breach this threshold. Being in the double red star, and triple red star ratio. And a couple lower. The lower ones are spared. But the lower ranks I have in the double red star and above often face up against legends at this rank.

 

As a legend, in my games there are at times a small number of low ranks in a game. Say 1 or 2. Or at time, Ill go into a low rank game, and be one of a handful of legends in a low ranked game. These are the scenarios.

 

If this is because the only way games can be filled is to put high ranks and low ranks together... then ... the state of the situation for the game is yikes. Maybe I should not be putting any money into this game.

 

If you can make more players legends... this will of course create lots of problems that need addressing... but as of right now. I dont play on any other account any more.  It makes no sense. I havent played on the low accounts except for the very rare times when I can complete 2 missions at beginning of a challenge and get 2500 crystals for essentially doing nothing. And a few other things like that.

 

If everyone became a legend, thered need to be a system... but with these high xp events. No one can even avoid becoming a legend. It will just happen to anyone that plays tanki to any degree of consistency. So do it with purpose. To some extent... maybe we could argue they are. They are throwing events, and discounts, and containers, and weekly stuff at us to make us stronger. Once people decide to swallow the pill and just accept they are going ot make it to legend.... we need to find a way to make that transition ok for everyone. Maybe if you are not legend, you pick 1 combo, and tanki gives you that combo mk7. Across the board free. Not mk7+ unless that is deemed necessary.

 

Your still gonna be outmatched. But that singular combo can be your fall back. Then we all benefit from these events.

 

Obviously the skil wont be there for everyone. They can still do the matchmaking according to gear score. Rank wont matter anymore

 All players will be legends. So you can have legends with lower gear scores, if people decide to stick wtih it, and the system would have to work on that.

 

I cant say this is better tahn older systems. Obvioulsy it isnt. But doesnt this just move things along?

 

Ugh, basically be a legend... or keep yourself below double red/triple red star.
