Well, forum games section is dead. Only a few users are using it, it's rare to see new replies. I think, they shouldn't be closed after 1 months since the last reply, because there are no new games, so there is no need to close older ones. If the section becomes more active again, the games can be closed again.

Agreed. Wish they remove the rule. I dont think any forum games is able to survive at the time, big forum games like The Ban Game (no posts since 1 month 15 days), 1,000,000 posts are inactive too. So I agree with this and hope the this rule is removed for some time.

Well, tbh one can always contact a Moderator to open any particular Forum Game again, but the game got closed for a reason: the last reply was more than a month old, which means that the game wasn't popular enough, and no one found it interesting.

Still, imagine asking a Moderator to open a game; what reason will you give? Irrespective of your reason, Moderators will undoubtedly reopen the game. But if the game was not popular and exciting enough, it'll stagnate once again.

Unless you've got together a few friends who are interested in playing the game again, there's really no point in reopening a game. A few games I created got closed due to inactivity, and I thought of asking a mod to reopen them, but then I realized that no one (not even me) would find it fun again.

My point is that even though a Forum Game gets closed, it can always be reopened (though it'll take some extra effort), and the rule is pretty reasonable.

Alternatively, more Forum Games could be pinned, which would be a nice idea. Or, games could be pinned in some sort of rotation, so that we don't get too many pinned games.

Yes, in the past, not popular forum games got closed, the ones that wasn't rrally interesting. However, nowdays, i see really good games closed, even the really popular ones in the past. I can't say it better: this section is now dead. Most of the forums who were active there left the forum or just visit it rarely.
