Most Annoying Combos in Tanki Today

I play a lot of different combos to keep the game fresh.  Generally I go into battles with Heat Immunity on and will adjust as needed. 90% of the time I am using Defender

The 3 most common of late are

  • Viking + Magnum Harpoon + Defender or Crisis
  • Hornet or Hunter + Vulcan IB + Defender
  • Hornet + Isida Broadband + Defender

But I also regularly use

  • Fire - Incendiary
  • Freeze - Shock or AP or Adrenaline
  • Hammer - Adaptive or Slugger
  • Twins - Stable or Heavy
  • Rico - AP or Adrenaline
  • Smoky - AP or AC or Supercumulative
  • Rail - Scout or AP
  • Shaft - Light or Heavy Caps + Crisis

I rarely use Thunder, Gauss, or Striker.  

For Siege, I will use HI or EMP Immunity to start.  I am generally using Dictator/Titan Rail AP with Defender.  I only play that in a group so we coordinate usually with an AP Rail, EMP Gauss, and something that does good splash damage like Magnum or Thunder.  It is quite a bit of torture for the other team.

What combos I find most annoying are in a way my most favorite and most used combos:-

  1. Gauss+Hopper/Hornet(if possible with EMP salvo)
  2. Railgun+ Hornet
  3. Most important Smoky(Autocannon)+any hull primarily Titan--- This is the most annoying combo. Usually when shots are raining on you, you get a feel subconsciously that your health is going down rapidly and once in HIghways MM I, snatched the enemies' flag and was jumping off the bridge when a smoky with autocannon shot me continuously. I thought I would just flip but I did a complete flip and landed on my tracks, but it was super annoying.
  4. Firebird+Hopper- With its damn maneuverability the tank can cover the whole map very fast and with a short range turret, it is super annoying.
  5. Crisis with long range turrets and heavy hulls!

hopper w criss on CTF / RGB is most annoying.

defender drone user used to be annoy until I got EMP gauss, you can keep emp shot them making them unable to use any supply or repair

AP rail/ AP smoky is super annoying as well, until I got AP immu for viking.

----

so hopper w criss is top 1, as they are so fast, you can't even aiming at them w current turret rotate speed

Hi all, I'll be compiling the list here in Light, Medium and Heavy combinations. I would ideally like 5-10 for each set. Let's see what turns up here over time ?

MOST annoying combo I see out there are constant incinary band+ Heat Immunity with defender drone. I see Also See many titans with defenders and sometimes with AP Immunity+ Defender drone. Another annoying combo auto cannon smoky. It shoots me out of no where and somehow kills me because of high crit ratio. Another combo is so annoying is MAGNUMS with Mortar augment especially if paired with a viking. These magnums are everywhere now a days. Hopper with crises or defender drone. And least annoying but still annoying, Plasma torch ricos.

2 Worst are gauss emp and obvs the flying hack.

Came up against a titan gauss with the EMP, almost impossible to get near the flag, only managed it because i stunned the OP noob,capped, then defended rest of battle to get the win.

There are to many OP alts, augments out there to have a decent battle, everything is governed by how OP you are in battle.

The skill factor has been lost by a large amount due to how easy it is to equip OP gear, and make a mockery out of most battles, especially that flying hack.

Same old, same old TO, nothing will change, if anything it will get worse, and the OP combos will rule the roost and decide how battles are played out.

Still maintain that the FLYING HACK, EMP, AND AP are the most OP out there.

While Hopper is an absolute pain to go against when it's paired with Crisis, I can cut it a small amount of slack because it's much more challenging to maneuver than a typical tracked hull.
The Overdrive needs to lose the stunning ability because I really hate taking a flag to my base, getting stunned by a Hopper, and the flag gets returned.
On the other hand, it's convenient that since Hopper doesn't disable supplies, I can use Repair Kits to take away the burn even when I'm stunned.

Most AP augments are OP, but less OP than EMP Gauss. With AP I keep my Speed Boost and Double Damage so I can quickly take cover until the AP effect wears off. With EMP Gauss, I am completely stripped of supplies and am pretty much helpless.

Finally got a good win over these FLYING HACKS. (killed the hack twice)

Helps when you have a decent couple of players to help you out.

His combo with the legal hack was firebird defender, both maxed out.

Nice to see a maxed out hack on the losing team for a change. ?? long may it continue.

Why was my screen removed, must be a mod who likes the flying hack.

I think the most annoying combos are whose in high impact force, it make my out of rage when I'm against them.

Smoky "Assault Rounds" - Railgun "Scout" - Ricochet "Minus-field distabilization" - Twins "Plasma accelerator".

Edit: oh I forgot to put Autocannon for Smoky, it didn't have that annoying Impact force. But it deserve forcingly to be in the list.

Yh its hard to stop them but what I said was that that heat immunized vulcan was the most annoying but these hoppers just focus on capping while those nub vulcans with defender try to annoy the crap out of u.

Well, to be fair, I find it very annoying that the hopper can't be stopped from capping - even when there's a full mine-field and 3 defenders are trying to take them down...

The problem with every rank below Legend, is that people vary from equipment level.

Some people will have Mk6, some will have Mk4, etc.

At Legend, most people have Mk7 (hopefully), and thus the data is most reliable there because everyone is on an even playing field (except for the difference between a non-buyer and buyer)
