It also nerfs the player who gets inflicted with the Armor Piercing. Sure, the piercing time has been reduced, but now, instead of having to watch out for 1 enemy, you now have to be cautious of up to 8 enemies who can potentially one-shot you if they have the means to do so.

True.  Titan dome is almost useless in many instances since it's not just hornets that can break it.

Correction - the new Vulcan with HI + Incendiary band.

Alone, pretty much useless for the defenders...

Oh, no I was talking about Vulcan in between February and April 2020, when no Augments existed yet. That was a balanced Vulcan. Sure, it was a bit on the "strong" side, but it kinda needed it considering it spent most of 2019 being the worst turret in the game. (Also, Vulcan was horrible during the last few months of 2018, after the burning effect rework, causing the turret to do 300 damage to itself every second after just firing for like 6 or 7 seconds)

1,000 DPS Vulcan was not balanced.

Yes, but unlike Smoky, Thunder, Striker, Railgun, Gauss, and Magnum, Vulcan needs to sustain fire on enemies in order to do considerable damage.

Smoky, Thunder, Striker, Railgun, Gauss, and Magnum can just fire a shot, deal a massive chunk of damage, and hide while reloading.

Vulcan needs to expose itself to enemy fire in order to return fire.

1,000 DPS does not mean anything if the enemy can simply hide from your stream of bullets.

In theory. But in practise, it was horribly broken on everything and Legend battles were filled with Vulcans. Hornet Vulcan was the worst offender but it was horribly strong on everything else as well.

Ignoring all external factors such as Vulcan augments and Heat Resistance/Immunity, the current 800 DPS Vulcan is balanced.

I assumed you said 1000 DPS as an exaggeration lol.

But yes, the current version is balanced, that's what I've been saying.

Isn’t kinda common sense? Why does more than half the team use almost half their equipment in defense to Firebird? Cuz it’s way too overpowered.

50% prot is almost useless against CFT, no need to explain that ? (besides, doesn’t equipping of immunity augments remove the effect of the relevant turret protection equipped?)

As for that CFT users score, well he might have been unskilled with it which, is very unlikely so there might have been a lot of kill steals.

*And, many people having heat immunity is not going to be a good solution to this as those users are most likely buyers...

If someone have a hull Augment against some OD, in example Hopper, it have at least 2 another parameters left. In example you have Heat Immunity, Hopper OD still can stun you and can jump. Hunter OD, still either stun you or disable your supplies. But in Hornet, sorrily. AP immunity could terminate the OD literally, you still just have the Radar, incredibly useless. Some games excuse their players to see others health, seeing the opponent health bar or determine their place is nothing, you will fight them face to face without benefiting of your OD. Also common MrCruise, Don't you need to expose yourself to opponents when you about to use your OD? We all know Hornet OD didn't work now except if you in the sight of view, so you really didn't need the Radar.

Oh guys, Luckily I found an old video on my Laptop about Vulcan Incendiary-band. See the video, note how he killed me while my Hornet was Mk7. And this was after the nerf, it was really way more powerful before the nerf.
