How rare is the "traceur" paint?

i got it back in 2013 or so, never saw anyone wearing it, is it actually rare or does just no one like to wear it?

It's hard to tell, but I would assume it is pretty rare as it is not available for purchase for more than 7 years now.

Oh I remembered it, but tbh I don't feel like I missed it, I think like I see it everyday. Btw, I think I have bought it in 2013, and I think it looks very ugly.

As in its decription in Wiki, there are exactly 1 068 597 players who bought it in that time. I think there are plenty videos in youtube with this paint

with evry week 2 new paints not a lot of paint are special anymore

I got free and cool animated paint from free container,

I never wear old tanki still paints any more, even old times cool painter like zeus, africa, ibris, inferno

new tanki paints all about fancy and colorful, even though at that time, that paint is cheap, I didn't buy it, because I use Inferno paint at that era most time.

also, old time, paints are linked with protection modules, thus most people is on high protection paints I think.

Zeus used to be such a legendary paint, I am so sad it turned to be "just another paint"..

Yeah, it's why I love the fact that recent challenges no longer have the original garage paints in them. Sure, others hate it, but I'd personally get pretty ticked if everyone was wearing my favorite paint one day.

I agree with you. Apart from the reason you mentioned, I have all the old garage paints so I am always disappointed when they add them to challenges.

I still consider Zeus, Nano, Inferno, Emerald and all of those paints to be legendary. It's just a shame that to other players, they are just another paint.

Traceur paint was not too common in the past, even though it only costed 50 crystals not too many people purchased it. Undoubtly that most of the players who owned the Traceur paint have quit the game very long ago. I myself also own this paint on my older account, a cool item to flex with in battle and it looks neat too. Apparently one of my clanmates also happens to own this paint and recently I saw another player in MM wearing this paint. It is fun to see that there are still some "OG-tankers" online these times. 

The same goes for Moonwalker, which was obtainable for 3k while the Moon Silence festivities took place in 2013 during which I bought that paint too. Nowadays, players can get this paint from containers so it is not too rare, especially compared to Traceur. Still, the thought of having a rare paint for 7 years is a pleasant thought.

also it was just 50 cry what in that time wasnt even much but now you would start laugfing when they sell a paint for this price

i think they schould only add the "space" mode during special events so it is stil nice. now it is also just another mode (wich you dont see very often)

Traceur was an event-paint, so it had no protections (which you can't expect for a paint that only costs 50 crystals). Buying and wearing the paint was a requirement for those who wanted to participate in the 2013 parkour contest, yet everyone was able to buy it - even players that didn't want to be part of the event. Unlike most parkour-paints, Traceur stayed in the garage of every player that bought it.

During Cosmonautics Day 2020, the Madness map in space-mode was featured and playable in MM. However, most players didn't enjoy the special mode, as space-mode appeared to be not a fitting environment for dynamic battles - battles were mostly dominated by heavy hulls and turrets with high impact and damage, making the battles rather one-sided

The paint is actually pretty rare. Unlike many other paints, this paint was never added to containers or shop ever after its release. Players who bought it, got to keep it and who didn't buy it, never got a chance ever again. We are talking about 7 to 8 years from now and many players who played the game during that time have left. If you do see the paint now, it is extremely rare. I haven't seen a player who disliked that paint. Its pretty nice actually. I seriously wanted that paint.
