wierd thing going on with my skins

Recently, the skins "breeze" and "valour" popped up in my inventory. as of further research, It is supposedly from the "parade of the beginners" event. I find this very wierd, as this account has never participated in the parade of the beginners event. It just popped up one day. I have logged in on mobile recently to claim a few pit stop boxes ^-^ but I think my acc was started in 2017, before the event started. I really don't know why, just looking for answers :D

The Parade of Beginners event is activated when you log into an account for the first time on TO mobile. It does not matter what date the account was created.

How recently is "recently"? A week ago? Two weeks ago? A month ago?

It is an automated registration process which start as soon as you log on the mobile app. I logged on the mobile one day at WO5 and then only played on Flash/HTML5 while completing the daily missions requirement as usual for 2 weeks. I received all the rewards from it.
It is a mobile beginner parade, not a recruit parade.

now please dont start calling me out saying i joined just the 12th... i never knew the forums existed back then... and i wouldnt have a reason to post in it either...

The Parade of Beginners event is activated when you log into your account for the first time on the mobile version, can you be more clear in your question please?

That has nothing to do with it. As explained above by Tokamak and TheCongoSpider, the "The Parade of Beginners" is activated as soon as you login to Tanki mobile for the first time (and not for the first time ever). Hence, he received those paints for completing enough missions.
