Little idea to buff Isida

it's been a lot i would have liked to see this feature implemented in the game, believe it or not, this feature of Isida never changed throughout the years. And i also feel this turret has been powercrept enough, let's give it some love.

I'm talking about the ability to attack/heal a tank through the "wreck" of other tanks.

Often destroyed tanks, whether they are of a teammate or an enemy, really do cause troubles to this turret, preventing it from connecting the turret signal to another tank in range.

Suggestion: make Isida ignore the tank wrecks, adding the ability to connect to a tank through them. (if there's a tank in range obviously)

Yeah yeah, i know that tank wrecks disappear quite quickly, but often enough, that second or so can be crucial.

If I recall.....Isida used to have an ability where its range would extend further than it's maximum limit if the turret were to fire on one target for a duration of time.

I have no idea if this is still in the game today.

Basically, shoot through dead tank bodies. ?

There should be an augment that fully remove Healing capability and trade it for more damage.

I don't like the idea of an augment that does this. Perhaps considerably decrease its effectiveness when healing, but completely removing it feels wrong. Maybe I'm too old-fashioned to accept something like this, but I see Isida as something that should always have a healing option, no matter how small or how much damage output you get in return.

Why not? Firebird can trade its Heating effect for more direct damage sam for Freeze who also can trade its Cold effect for more damage output.

It is an augment, it is a reversible process.

Having the highest DPS in the game is not enough?

Unless of course the dreaded vampirism self-heal Isida makes a comeback as an augment! That might make sense, if you lose the ability to heal others. But then that is technically healing, just to oneself though.

I definitely agree that Isida is all about healing though, that is its unique property. It could only give this up in an augment if it gained self-healing once again, which they probably would never do (then again with all the craziness in 2021 Tanki that probably wouldn't even be that OP at this point).

They're both offensive abilities. Isida's healing is unique and the opposite of that; they're fundamentally very different. I believe if you make the conscious decision to pick Isida as a turret, you have in your mind that you are to heal someone if possible.

I agree with DestrotankA19 in that a self-healing augment is areguably the only justifiable reason to completely remove the healing feature. And even then, it still goes against what I mentioned above.

Healing gives score points and experience points. It might not be an offensive tool but it does provides perks like offensive mechanics so it has some similarity, not so fundamentally different. Healing a friend increase offensive power of that friend.

Self healing is selfish attitude for someone who make a conscious decision to pick Isida a sa turret. ? It can't be arguably be better than a request for increase of damage output.

I thought that Isida has just been a support turret. The Developers claim that vanilla Isida is more of an attacking type, but to me, it is still just a support turret. Needs some sort of improvement. Maybe a wider cone? A little extra damage? Shoot through wall for a second if a tank hides behind one while your beam was on them? Who knows? Isida needs a buff. One of the, if not, the lowest performing turret in today's meta.

Good Idea. Upvoted.
