Hello, tankers!
 

We keep going with the active pace of game updates, which we have set from the very beginning of the year.


We did not only prepare two weeks' Valentine's Day celebrations with many activities but also made some changes to the game balance and fixed some minor, but annoying bugs.

You can find the list of changes which will be implemented after the servers’ restart tomorrow here.

Lots of good thing like Hammer and Isida buff (finally) and nerfing of Defenders drones and Hopper overdrive charge.

But a couple of not so good:

Paints from past challenges are added to containers.  (container rewards dilution)

It is called nerfing. It means if you use the overdrive and cap a flag within 10 seconds your overdrive is not recharged: you get 0% additional recharge, while before you would have got a lot (CTF flag is 75 score points x 0.7 = 52.5%).

Good at least that Hopper is getting a nerf. Perhaps the it will be less annoying in XP/BP though I think it would need at least  -5 m/s to both acceleration and reverse acceleration to be balanced.

Not that it will ever be a healthy addition to format battles.

How about nerfing the Booster and the Saboteur too? Because for us q we don't have many drugs this is horrible, it will make us use even more armor, while for the buyers it won't make any difference, and it is even more damaging?the game will go bankrupt only bad update !!

Booster is a good drone, 3 second damage effect is not much like defender 30 seconds, concerning saboteurs, few people actually use it and dont forget that it takes out severals mines for each applies.

Nerf was needed badly.   Could have been more...

I know - my suggestion was removal.

So they go ahead and increase the number of players.  I refuse to play on that dumb map.

And put 20 on Future - the same as Chernobyl?

 

For Isida they should have boosted it's healing score.  Who's gonna want to spend that energy healing when you can do a LOT more damage.  It's basically a firebird+incendiarymix but can only attack 1 player.

Yes! Finally something good for Ares! The overdrive is pretty good for supporting your teammates during capturing a flag/ball. Now it's good for other modes too! Yahoo. Best update ever. I absolutely love the new balance changes. ???

Btw, I wonder how many points we are talking about. ?

Bro would you know anything bout this ?

Oh oh why this direct nerf without any changes or buffing it in armor or in any other? a pure nerf!! that means directly it's just strengthen for a while in ruining the balance purpose.

-2m/s in Hopper wont restrict it even a little on capturing flags/balls. Ohh ooh, nice you added 10 seconds out of charging to Hopper, OMG now you putted it? Hopper all the time was with no delay in this!! I usually anger why Viking's OD after I kill many people didn't charge even a little and I have to wait ages to reach 100% again, and Hopper the quickest OD in charging didn't have this delay? Disappointed

In real Hopper get a buff here, when you at low health you will wait 3 seconds before using Repair-Kit and you will die with the burning effect.

Yes, it's very logical, strangely this is now implemented though it's a common sense in every game.  Friends should play in Pro-battles, it's the perfect place for long - custom battles. MM is just a rush and quick battles for finishing daily/weekly missions without any type of fun or hanging out with friends.

When I start read about the buffs for Striker, I was keen to see it at least a competitive for Gauss. As we now see how the Gauss outstanding Striker in every side, but the buff is just a 5m/s in the speed not even the acceleration, from 25m/s initial speed to 30m/s. But for sure sometimes a small numbers make a noticeable difference, I don't know more than developers waiting for tomorrow.

I saw the topic early, but wasn't want to write my complaint before some posts come before me, to not be the first complaint.

happy about the isida buff, striker buff, the fixing of equipment and augments bug.

unhappy about nerfing of duplet yet again.

btw this update should have added gifts into html5 on accout of valentines day.

Isida used to be my most-used turret.  Then they ruined it.  I hardly ever use it now as trying to score by healing leaves you at bottom of score-list.  Now it does a lot of damage.  So does Firebird+IM and it can damage multiple targets.

For Isida range did you leave out a "0"?   2m is... quite short.

well you are right isida does have the highest dps of all turrets, but it also has the lowest range and the healing is fairly low, about one-third of its damage approx, and I think now after the small buff isida should be able to kill heavy hull with full tank.

Overcrowding on maps might be the worst part of the recent updates for me, some of my favorites have been ruined

I miss 8 v 8 on Kungur etc.

I feel tanki's players have increased during this lockdown that's why they are able to accomodate so many players at same time
