Also, I realized I must like to drive backwards ... I do a lot with Titan and maybe a couple other hulls. When I went to test them and use their ODs, I shot in wrong direction .... haha guess I am a noob. Have to remember to stay pointed in right direction. Also if manuevering makes it that I do need to spin or rotate and go in reverse, have to memorize the looks of the hovering hulls a bit more.

Try using mouse controls for hovering hulls. It works wonder.

Let's be honest, we've usually had many sales which are so often that this is an extra cherry on the top. I don't like it, but it's what it is. Maybe a melee turret mk sale soon, who knows, it's still more than bargained for. Tanki don't have to do sales at all, yeah sure people would leave, but if you're still here, means you've been through thick and thin, maybe new, and clearly you may have been part of the recent celebrations which involved a few discounts.

So let's have less complaints about this. All we need is a scatter of time zone for these sales so everyone around the world has a decent shot to get something maybe on their hot sale. And that is something that has been acknowledged, now all that's left is to hope u can access the game when the hot sale comes.

You have a full Mk7 garage, I don't believe the sales are intended for your demographic...

I don't believe any amount of sales or free stuff coming Players' way will turn things around for the game...Ultimately, it's cool to see that free-to-play Players are being thought of, but none of the recent changes they've made have affected Matchmaking more than just slight adjustments, so it's just the same game that we're playing, and I know a lot of Players are being pushed away due to pure boredom of the same Matchmaking system time and time again. There needs to be some changes made to make the game more interesting, not just handing out free stuff to Players and expecting that to increase their enthusiasm and interest towards the game.

They acknowledged this, but I almost guarantee they won't completely shift the times of these sales by upwards of 12 hours (to make them occur at a time that is optimal for Players in the Americas), so it's still not going to help such Players. With eSports within the game, they went from having match times at a cut-and-dry 17 UTC to being open any time from around 15-16 UTC until 19-20 UTC, which shows their flexibility (and that's appreciated), but again, that doesn't help Players in the Americas that have school/work during that time period, and I think the same will be held true for these "Hot Sales." I guess people from that area will just have to disrupt their attention from their classes/work in order to take advantage of the sales, as I don't see having sales around 2 UTC being something that'll occur...

I see so many players complaining and being happy at the same time about these things. What I feel like a lot of people need to understand is that what benefits one group of people will almost always be at the expense of another. This is why I think Tanki has been doing a decent and even excellent job at maintaining general balance, albeit difficulties. We see this in current Tanki. We see many old veteran players and YouTubers leaving Tanki but at the same time more players entering Tanki. The new updates have made the game easier for beginners but arguably more difficult for experienced players that use old-time methods that they have perfected and mastered. So, why am I writing this?

I would recommend that although Tanki is doing decently at maintaining balance, and your opinion will almost be certainly different than mine (if you are reading this), there are indeed a few things that would benefit the game. To summarize: make the game simple and easy for beginners but progressively harder as they become more experienced but not too hard that they quit; make the game playable for veteran players that use old methods that they have spent a lot of effort on mastering; sort of like tiered difficulty that forces you to adapt and choose your own playing style; at the same time making the game so fun and engaging that players never want to quit. Below is a list of changes that I have concluded on (just my opinion, a recommendation) after a lot of time spent researching player's opinions, both new and old. This is in the best interest of the general players.

-Nerf Hopper's overdrive, make it horizontal or a lower jump, however in return raise the health of it slightly or make it more maneuverable or expensive to upgrade (or you can further lower Hopper's health)

-Make the common augments/weaker augments slightly cheaper, but increase their rarity in containers

-Raise the rewards in coinboxes significantly (as they are pretty dang expensive and you can lose a lot of tankcoins because it is like a mega-gamble)

-(In response to "druggers" or supply spammers and also beginners losing games) - make supplies slightly cheaper and easier to obtain (as a couple 30-second supplies could potentially cost as much as a player earns in battle)

-Make the AP immunity and EMP/stun immunity augments more expensive and a little rarer in containers

-Slightly lengthen then time of Hot Sales to maybe around 1 hour 30 minutes or as much as 2 hours or take away the hot sales (both of these seem to be the only ones people will be satisfied with)

-Consider the time zones; be sure to alternate sales evenly between all the time zones and not during hours where children have school (a lot of the Tanki players if not most) ESPECIALLY in America (tons of people I know here play Tanki) - In America almost all the school districts block games like Tanki Online so children can only access Tanki from their home/Google accounts during non-school hours

-Make training/practice tournaments or battles for beginners to sharpen their skills

-Do something (idk what) that makes the gaming easier for those poor people that have no supplies and keep getting one-shotted by druggers with powerful tanks (I'm telling you that's over 50% of the people in every battle) especially in low ranks

*This is all only a suggestion, PLEASE do not take it personally. Thanks!

**Thank you Tanki Helpers for helping to keep the balance!

You do know I'm not speaking for myself here. Those who know, me, know I've been upgrading stuff without sales. Regardless of that, there have been many consistent sales in the past, along with the lame exp boost unfortunately, but also a good crystal bonus, also recently of which many free to play players I know have been purchasing items and upgrading their garages.

I'll disclose that my lil bro still plays and enjoys the game, without having a single penny spent on his account, many players of this community are like him and just play to have fun. They play MM, spend crystals on supplies, because unfortunately it is hard to play without having supplies at majority of ranks, especially when the latter use will not hesitate to use their abilities.

eSports died long ago realistically, majority of the playerbase don't really care about that, but Tanki should be able to shift hot sales by up to 12h, if they can't do a simple thing as that, then we can be disappointed, I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Also the rollout that which the hot sales info is spread needs to be consistent on all platforms, so please devs, get that communication on point and ensure the announcements happen pretty much on the dot, I did see a few people just missing out on the sale by a bit.

You have it backwards.   New players are at a huge disadvantage.

- how do they make common augments cheaper but also rarer?  If you can buy them with crystals who cares how "rare" they are in containers?  Are they not already rare?  Since introduction I think I've gotten 2 augments in total from containers.

- Supplies are already easy to obtain.  I could not possibly use up all my supplies even if I tried.

- AP augments... how do you make them more expensive?  Can't buy them with crystals.

The one suggestion you should have made but I don't see is... tighten up the rank-spreads in MatchMaker.  This will help the noobs that are facing players 6-10 ranks above them that have all those supplies you are worrying about.

New OP items (like Hopper) and poor implementation of MatchMaker are some of the most significant issues with TO.

I didn't specifically mention the plight of new players, but that is why I have the list below. Most of them are aimed at making the game easier for new players. Also this is just a personal opinion after researching on players' opinions, it's quite tough to figure out a way to satisfy everyone, if not impossible. And yes, I agree that the Matchmaking suggestion is probably the most important one. To clarify, when I say "veteran players" I refer to players that use old methods for things like catching gold boxes, and yes, also high-ranking players that have played Tanki for a long time. YouTubers like MrThunder and MrRailgun have left. Also tightening Matchmaker will not solve the issues completely because there are still those singular buyers in most battles that have augments and OP gear as well as drones however this will give new players a very good chance. By common augments I mean rare (blue) augments (read the wiki) that really aren't that effective but can give players a chance. Overall, I would say that my suggestions are an alternative to changing Matchmaking if it upsets the balance but I think you did a good job presenting a different approach to the problem.

They should allow everyone to choose what time (in the world clock) they are (GTM or something like that), and the discounts will reach everyone at a certain time (for example, at 17:00 according to your clock, or according to what you marked in the settings). Of course every time at a different time, once at 3pm, once at 8am and once at 8pm.
