declined Exchanging items for promocodes (for a fee)

My idea is about exchanging in-game items like supplies or tankoins for promocodes, but for an "exchanging fee".

For example, I want a promocode for 5 goldboxes. I use this feature, pay a certain "exchanging fee", 5 goldboxes get removed from my account and get converted into a promocode. This promocode can be used by anyone. 

This is a good alternative for "gifting" (I'm not talking about the awesome gifts like "Bro", "Blue Sphere", etc.). The exchanging fee should be in Tankoins, somewhere around 10-20 Tankoins.

This method of gifting cannot be abused because every time you exchange some item for a promocode, you will have to pay some Tankoins. So a player will not generate a promocode for 5 goldboxes from an alternate account to use it in another account simply because of the "exchanging fee" (which will be in Tankoins). 

Items that should be exchangeable in my opinion:

• Supplies (including goldboxes)
• Crystals
• Tankoins (remember the "exchanging fee"... even if you exchange 500 tankoins for a promocode, you will have to pay 10 Tankoins, say)
• Shot Effects & Skins (these can be optional)

For example, if I want to gift a Battle Pass to a friend, I'll exchange 500 Tankoins for a promocode by paying some Tankoins, and then send the promocode to the friend. The friend will redeem it and buy a Battle Pass. Easy!

The point behind your idea is good. But if you think about it, players will start selling these promocodes and even scam other players and steal their money. That's why the only ones who can issue promocodes are members of the administration.
