Tankers!

 

We continue to remaster the default skins of turrets and hulls! 

It's time for the legendary hull that you see on each eSports livestream, the one that was the first hull for most of our lovely tankers, to get a makeover.

 

Welcome Hunter HD!

 

With the servers restart on March 5th, default Hunter's skin will be replaced with the new HD version automatically and will be free for all tankers.

It's everything you want in a new skin: high details, improved polygon quality, and special rear engines for strong backfire. Playing with the new skin will give you a novel experience to look forward to. 

And considering the hull's ability to stun opponents, you get the ideal universal combo for any battle. 

 

Augments

 

Hunter is not going to receive new augments with this update, but the other two augments for Railgun will be released:

 

  • EMP rounds
    When these rounds hit a target, they apply the EMP status effect, disabling activated supplies. The effect doesn't last long but is applied with every shot.

  • Cryo rounds
    A variant of large caliber Railgun but with cryo rounds. These rounds decrease the temperature of targets that they hit. The power of the freezing effect isn't that great, but the effect works every time.

 

You can get the new augments out of the Ultra Containers, which you can purchase in the Shop or get for completing special missions during the International Women's Day celebrations.

EMP rounds soiunds terrible, just like the buff to gauss AP salvo.

  • Gauss’s «Electromagnetic salvo» augment: The radius of disabling supplies is decreased from 20 to 14 meters.

  • Gauss’s «Armor-Piercing Salvo» augment: The radius of applying the effect is increased from 0 to 6 meters.

Nerfing of Gauss EMP, but Buffing of AP augment.
AP buff is totally outrageous, unless this happens with all turrets with Splash damages.

Rethink, that's not 30% increase but a 100% minimum. Before only one tank get AP (0 metres), now any tank in the vicinity get it (6 meters), so one other tank is 100%, 2 tanks is 200%...

Hold on a second...

Rail EMP, for the "price" of a slightly longer shot delay (1.1 sec -> 1.32 sec) gets the following...

- disable supplies for 6 seconds (longer than Hunter's OD)

- 40% boost to damage

 

This is crazy!   Why would anyone ever use LCR which has a harsher penalty, but does not get to disable supplies.

Why did AP Salvo get a buff like that?? Look at Ricochet's AP, that is

Well of course it does... all the OP items are "tempting to get".

But, outside of the few very lucky, it will be mostly buyers with these augments through sheer numbers of containers.

Yikes, time to wear a Mk7 Falcon module and EMP immunity for couple of months.

An a brighter note, I love the new hunter skin! I also think the changes to Gauss and the Cryo rounds are reasonable.

AP SALVO NOW APPLIES THE EFFECT TO ALL TANKS IN THE AREA???????? JESUS CHRIST!

Terrible augment addition for the Railgun (aside cryo rounds)

Also excuse me? Railgun EMP rounds now comes with an INCREASE of FORTY PERCENT of both maximum and minimum damage? What were they thinking???????

Terrible choice buffing the stun rounds as well.

 

This game will just increase the speed of its sinking after each HD turret is released

Not that i care obviously :P

I wanted to say that it's good that AP gauss got a buff because i have it and it was a very noob augment compared to others AP augment the locking time was so long and status would applie for a very short time, it was mostly useful for teamates, secondly i made a mistake i wanted to say that EMP gauss should have increased locking time instead of decreased. That 50% decreased locking time is just abused.

Not that i care obviously :P

I think they buffed it like hell just so buyer could spend alot of $ trying to get it in this week end, of course it will be nerfed. Concerning AP gauss, trust me it was a noob augment before the buff comparing to others AP, but i have to admit that this will become a beast in siege mode XD

i mean i don't care because i have all the protections, but if someone shoots me, and i'm between my teammates, they'll get the effect, and die to any source of incoming damage.

Sometimes i ask myself if they even think the consequences of their changes. 

Or maybe they perfectly know them, they just care for the $$$$
