Small Buff to Hyperion

Not gonna lie, at high levels, Hyperion kinda sucks because you are spamming Supplies anyways. That's why people use Defender and Booster Drone more often. Even Crisis!

The advantage with Hyperion is to use all Supplies when you spawn in, and when it is maxed, you can just re-use the Supplies.

Since it is effecting Smart Cooldowns, can we let it get its Supplies cooldown erased when we get EMPed?

The Buff:

When you get EMPed, not only is your Supplies disabled, they are set on a cooldown of 5 seconds. With an upgraded Hyperion Drone, can we make it act like a cooldown Immunity?

Also, it should not consume 3 Repair Kits or Mines.

I've actually been seeing a huge number of Hyperion drones in the past few months, relatively of course. I was a bit surprised but it was expected that players would branch off to Hyperion at some point to test it out.

Let me understand this correctly... you want a drone to function like a Hull immunity?  So in effect giving that player the possibility of two hull immunities?

Not quite an Immunity. Your Supplies will still be taken away, but with Hyperion, you can ignore the 5 second cooldown and re-use Supplies.

With an EMP Immunity, you don't even lose your Supplies. (In case you didn't know)

I never see Hyperions. During my Legend career in MM, I've seen only about 10. That's a pretty small number to me.

While every day, I am seeing Defenders, Boosters, Crisis, and Saboteur.

Idk....

I mean, if we were to exclude the number of supplies used, Hyperion is ultimately a more OP version of the Trooper drone. Both drones allow you to have full supplies when spawning.

Trooper is more free-to-play because it doesn't use up as many of your own supplies but Hyperion essentially gives a longer supply effect.

And to buyers, the number of supplies they have to use is practically infinity, so it doesn't matter to them that Hyperion consumes more supplies.

 

And I honestly want the Drones to be all balanced with each other, not separated by first and second tier-levels like we have now, where half the drones are ultimately more stronger than the others. (And yes, I want all drones to cost relatively the same too, or else why would you spend 500,000 crystals just to upgrade Brutus when you can just buy Driver or Mechanic for a much, much better advantage in battle?)

I wonder too. But this is the way Tanki have made these Drones. As a Legend rank Drone, I expected much more than this.

Hyperion sounds OP and probably might, but for some reason, we just love using the Defender Drone.

Additional buff to the Drone. 

Since it only affects the Cooldowns of Double Armor, Double Damage, and Speed Boosts, WHY ON EARTH does it consume 3 Mines and Repair Kits???

That should be removed.

IMO Hyperion is less common because it is less accessible . . . it costs 320k crystals and unlocks at Legend. You can have a fully upgraded Defender or Lifeguard well before Hyperion even unlocks.

I was gonna get it a few hrs ago but then decided not to.

A drone that consumes so many supplies and costs a fortune to acquire, and costs an even bigger fortune to upgrade is just not worth it, especially the way TO is atm with all the OP gear in every battle you go into.

Having supplies activated all the time will not help you one bit in today's OP TO.

I was only gonna get it because i had a spare 2 mil cry.

Got more batteries instead, much better use of my cry.

Basically as I said in a previous topic, Drones aren't existed to have a balance between them like the turrets/hulls.. There is always a misbalance between them

So Booster-Defender-Crisis, are always have an obvious advantage across all of the other drones. So you have to buy one of them.. And basically you can't buy Crisis (I think you re F2P) because it's from UC under Exotic and using 3 supplies each time you use.

I am pretty surprised to hear this comment.

How many Legends have you been battling to see them using this Drone?

first thing hyperion not worth 32000 rightnow beucase you can die and put supplys, i think you need to add to hyperion something like boosted speed suppllys like damage and armor.  or you can add to hyperin something like when you you hve all supplys he increase the chance to critical heat

 

 

but pleas add something to hyperyon!?

Maybe the Hyperion drone itself should be immune to all cooldown effects. This protection does not extend to the hull - EMP Immunity augment equipped notwithstanding, of course. It would make it the only drone that can activate supplies without the requirement of EMP Immunity.

That's not a buff. The buff is that it now consumes 2 of each Supply, instead of 3
