Regarding the paints you mentioned, I believe you are mistaken. The HD skins have more polygons and better textures, so the old paints are rendered in a different way on them. Every single paint is affected, even Animated ones. Some of them actually look better, like PCB. It's understendable that paints from 10 years ago now look bad and stretched out.

Correct. As of yesterday, 60 days cost $20.99, not 36.99. And 30 days cost $9.99, not 13.99. A pretty egregious 'mistake.'

I cant really say I have anything positive to say about this.

 

Luckily, I havent spent anything on tanki for over 2 months now. So Ive been weened off wahtever potential hook they might have had on me to continue. Also, with a stupid and much higher than average year of donations to tanki last year... my garage is pretty much complete. The future is well within sights. At best, they could have convinced me to keep getting the premium and some other things. But this was not the way to make me feel like continuing to buy on tanki as my garage gets more and more full. Even if they released turrets, or a new mk mechanic I dunno man. 

 

My expenditures on tanki will continue to be 0. And even if they get paypal and other stuff working... well, Ive got in habit of not throwing lunch money at tanki every couple weeks. And I dont think price increase is way to go... but dont see all the information from there side. 

 

Just seems daft.

You're right about the HD skins, but can you really say Joeguy is wrong? How the hell did Alien Skin, which went front to back and looked awesome, get changed 'accidentally' to side to side, which now looks like sh!t? My currently highest ranked account has been wearing that paint since I parted with very hard-earned cash for the special shop bundle way back when.  I can't wear it now.

Electrohive also went front to back, or at least on a backward diagonal. Now it goes side to side. Looks dorky.

Many of the animated paints don't have a 'direction,'  but it is an unpleasant 'unintended' consequence that they are rendered so small that they just look like a blur and can't be made out. It is not 'understandable' that paints that looked great on my hunter two weeks ago look terrible today. Pretty soon it will be on all hulls. Any self-respecting and honorable company would make this good for its customers. Does anybody have the slightest belief that Tanki will do this? Ha!

Edit: Joeguy may have been referring to the non-animated paint Inferno. On a non-HD hull the flames point backward. On the HD Hunter they now point forward. How the heck does that happen?

Personally I like MAJORITY of paints which are on HD skins, but I get what u mean

Playing around in the garage, I personally thinkFire Golem and Tankoin Tank look good on the HD tank. But as an example, Alien Nebula, Chemical Reaction and Cosmic Blast look very bad, so busy they have no character

As things stand now, I will certainly never buy a premium account again. Luckily, as things stand now, I don't need to; I can easily get what I might want from a challenge by completing daily missions.

I say "as things stand now" because the one thing Tanki is not known for is consistency.  They're known for the buff/nerf cycle. I expect when they find nobody buying Premium, they will remove stars from daily missions and give us some irrational, nonsense reason for it.

You'd be surprised, but there is still a few individuals who would actually go for the 60 days offer instead of picking 30 days two times. Why? Don't ask me, I have no clue. However, the aforesaid old prices are not written correctly, not sure about the new ones as I did not happen to check them myself, so yeah.
