I've done 61 kills in juggernaut :P also i'vs done more than 35 kills many times in other modes

Do you honestly think it has affected the flying hack in any way when it comes to ctf.

It has, but not to the extent that you would personally see. The retention period of Hopper was one of the most disgusting things about it, and it was long overdue to be removed, which is what happened in the last Patch. 

 

I presume you use Heat Immunity on most if not all of your accounts, so Hoppers abusing their retention periods would have had little effect on you. But for those without Heat Immunity, the nerf is a blessing.

in my opinion, freeze without freezing effect and firbird without burning effect just isnt as much fun. if i want to deal damage like the way you said i'd use some other turret like hammer.

But most people equipped Hammer/Rico/Twins protections in those DMs. ?

The retention period's gone. Is it a major nerf such as removing stun/burn? No. But, it does count as a nerf since it negatively impacts Hooper's OD. I should hope in the future Hooper receives a slightly greater nerf (I think it would be fair if it just burns and jumps. To me, anything more is a bit too much).

I do use Heat immunity a lot, but even using Hooper I would sometimes activate my overdrive right as I am dying to burn and stun and have it back. Not really sure why it retained so well, but it would basically mean I would have my OD back in 30 seconds or so.

Well the overdrive recharges marginally faster. It still has a tiny splash radius (both for damage and applying AP effects), has recoil, and without Booster isn't that dangerous. That is, of course, assuming your enemy doesn't take cover and your teammates don't bump into you.

That DM mission sure is a pain in the a... Since I hate that game mode; 492 hours in CTF, 210 hours in CP and only 16 hours in DM (less than Rugby with 30 hours).

It's time for 1 hour pause from game... About 15 hours left to finish missions. Still need 7685/10000 points earned and 16720/30000 crystals in DM.

Used Viking and Firebird. Plus Crisis drone lvl-0 from Ultra Container (lucky that I got it one month ago).

Yeah, but I die to fast. Protections are so low for me. Back in the game I didn't care about them... Got Mk7-15 Shaft, Mk7-9 Railgun and Mk7-4 Freeze, Smoky, Thunder. The other protections are all Mk2-0.

Most of the time, I can get top 5 each battles. I kill fast with Crisis drone and Firebird, but I die fast. 10% damage reduction is garbage. I use Freeze, Smoky and Thunder protections, but no players with those turrets (maybe 2-3).

Crisis at step 0 only gives you 25% extra damage...

 

Not the best choice to pair with Firebird.  Better use long range turret and steal some kills from far (switch between DD & DA).

H I, no not every account. but that has no bearing on how OP the flying hack is.

Having HI does not prevent the hack stunning me and landing on top of my tank to return flag.

The retention period of the hacks overdrive was about the lamest nerf ever to appease players.

It has imo had no nerf whatsoever when it comes to dominating ctf, rugby battles.

These are the facts, my take on this pathetic nerf to the legal hack is correct. I still see the hack dominate with ease in all but a very small % of battles, especially at the higher ranks.

The 'NERF' ( joke ) has at best brought it into line with other hulls.

 

( But for those without Heat Immunity, the nerf is a blessing.)  AGREE, for those without HI.

I completed this whole ultra weekend rewards. I got my 7 ultra containers. For such weekend events, it would be a little more fair if users earned 10 ultra containers rather than 7 of them. At least, for big holiday events such as Easter, Summer and Christmas holidays, 10 ultra containers could be earned as part of a great celebration.

 

However, enough talk for now. Good luck for everyone who participated along with me with this fun and challenging ultra weekend.

Well I meant the shot charging time, not the overdrive charging time - actually looking at the patch notes, I should say I think 1 second would be an ideal time for the shot charging time, just slightly slower than it is now (was originally 1.3 seconds) because there is now basically no time to get out of the way and react unless you are using Crisis/Hopper. Honestly it has 3000 damage at Mk8 on a target with DD and without DA (and of course more with Booster), which is a one-shot kill on light/medium hulls unless the target has Defender or is within a Titan dome (even against Defender add in a bit of damage such as a smoky/Gauss shot and it is still a kill), and that is possible from range and is unavoidable - and you can get multi-kills. Personally I think that is way too strong, because even Viking overdrive I can usually anticipate when they are going to use it, survive the first shot and run for cover. Maybe it should have slightly longer duration on the AP effect (say 8 seconds?) and less recoil perhaps.

I think working out the right time to use it (far enough away from team mates that you won't get knocked) and that enemies won't be able to get to cover is part of the skill of using it, when I'm using Crusader on my alt accounts now it feels pretty OP - winning games with 20-0, 20-1 or 20-2 very easily. I was hitting with the overdrive pretty much every time before the change, and it is super easy to do it now, so if other people were bad at doing that IDK - but they just need to get better at using Crusader overdrive if so. I think it activates just too fast now.
