@kydapoot Hello one last thing I want to clarify. What will happen to the functions of drones such as crisis and booster? Also would all the other drones need stat changes?

I believe Booster won't do critical hits, If I remember correctly.

That's a good question! This is the purpose of the Adrenaline augment - it increases damage without changing any mechanics.

As far as I can tell from the announcement and patch notes, they're unaffected. They should still boost any type of damage that you deal while their effects are active, though it may be harder to predict when they'll be effective. (Booster on a critical shot sounds pretty scary, but you can't tell when that shot will be). 

I'll check on this again tomorrow when the update comes out and make a note on the wiki page about it once I've confirmed the info.?

It's like it's Christmas and everybody got presents but Me and Smoky.  Smoky is crying his eyes out sitting by the Christmas tree but nobody cares. It breaks my heart!  ?

It's even worse... Imagine that all gamblers got presents, and all other players got like... nothing. But Christmas even took something from smoky... his uniqueness...

I still don't understand why is this update even needed... And how they don't care at all about the players opinion. Around 98% of the players said that they simply hate the update, so why implement it in the game? 

Why would you destroy everything that was built through years of hard work? Just for milking more money out of players and buyers?

Yep

If they are going to add more updates like this in the future then I give it 3 more years of life but not more. People will get tired of them sooner or later

Why is everyone complaining so much I am playing the update on the test server and it is not that dramatic so I never know why people are nagging like this while they do not even know how it works because of the critical damage is just the same almost as the current damage.

I like this. Dealing consistent damage remove the reliance of RNG. Exactly what I wanted. Still waiting to see Brutus buff and few other balance changes.

If anyone is interested.

I have tested extensively Smoky and Railgun with my buddy @JustBlackWolf today and from what I have seen:

 

Smoky seems to have the same exact crit base chance as it normally has. The patch notes mention an increase by upgrade up to 50% at MK7+, but this is either not implemented in the TS or is not working properly. 

Railgun has a true 50% crit chance mechanic. You can crit multiple times in a row. LCR is Okay, Scout is extremely broken, Round Stabilization is too good for only 96k cry (+33% flat dmg)

and Round Destabilization is full meme potential and it will destroy JUGG mode. It deals either 100dmg or something like 6-10k depending on upgrades and drones equipped.

Yes, there is no in-between. it will be useless in a real battle and it Jugg it will be insane with Viking Overdrive.

I would've added "Death Herald Compulsator" in the list, but seeing as how I barely kill any enemies with it due to all the Railgun Modules and people stealing my kills or me being snipped off by Gausses and Shafts, and etc, the 10% extra warm-up is a pretty big downside for an Augment that doesn't get utilized very often.

 

I said turret augment so ignore hull augments.  We all know those are P2W.

You went out of your way to list 18 augments, which are really 2 different augments for each turret - they are the same thing.  And Adrenaline - yeah it does give a boost - a small one, and only under certain conditions.

The other ones listed Do have a negative, even if it's only +% on 'warmup".  And even those now only do so on "critical shots".

What you have listed is nothing like the augments of the poster I was replying to.

Rail - Added critical damage: 800 (Mk1) up to 1600 (Mk7+) with a fixed 50% chance;   Rail has a 50% chance for a critical?

How do Critical modules work?

How exactly does smoky Incendiary work?  If smoky mk7+ now has a 50% chance for critical, it does incendiary damage 50% of the time?

 

Mines do only 1500 damage now?  LOL.  they are useless.

This sounds too much like a joke.  But it aint April 1 yet...

That means that there wont be a range of damage for example rail is currently 800-1600 the damage will be 1200 without spread.

The modual will resist all critical damage by 40% against all turrets if maxed. meaning it will take longer to land critical hits. 

As for the last question I'm not entirely sure.
