Hello, tankers!

 

Ever since the legendary videos by ydzero, you've been asking us to add new supply boxes to the game.

 

Well, your dreams are coming true: tomorrow, April 2, we will be adding a new "Autopilot" supply to the game!

 

Mechanics

 

"Autopilot" cannot be bought; it, like the "Overdrive" supply, will fall out of the sky several times per matchmaking battle. The player who picks up the supply gives up control of the turret to the autopilot for 30 seconds: the system will detect and destroy nearby targets by itself. However, you will still need to control the hull to stay close to enemies or change targets from one enemy to another.

 

The turret focuses on the target which is closest to the player. When firing at medium range, the autopilot mechanism will transfer to the nearest enemy if one appears at close range.. 

 

When the supply is active, the turret receives a boost to some of its parameters:

• the damage is increased by 15%

• the reload is decreased by 10%

 

How do I get it?

 

The "Autopilot" will drop on a special dropzone on the map every two minutes. The dropzone will be added to all existing matchmaking maps. From now on, you will have to choose whether to continue playing as before or to take control of the center of the map, getting a boost to your turret’s performance and trusting the high-precision auto-aiming system.

The autopilot supply box, if its a real supply box, will be very useful for mobile players who want to battle using the auto-firing mode that was announced a while back in a preview V-Log. This new supply would be a very helpful one, as long as its not an April fools joke. I hope its real, along with the new critical damage update we expect to get tomorrow.
