The destabilization rounds makes no sense to me. It has a critical chance of 70% but critical hits feel rare. Most of the time I only do 40-50 damage and by the time I land a critical hit it does not finish them off because my previous 50 damage did nothing to them and now someone will steal my kill.

Just yesterday I did 70-80 damage on a tank for 5 times in a row!(70% chance, really?) when I checked the person in TAB he did not even have critical resistance and I was just tickling him with my shots.

On rare occasions, VERY RARE I mean, the first shot itself is critical followed by the second shot as well but of course I have no way of knowing this and I always use armor first so there I lost my chance of getting a great kill but if I go on and use DD every time and not land a lucky shot, it's just wasted and I die on spawn in a few seconds. Over 300 hours with rail and this is how it turns out?

Just reduce the critical damage and add some damage to the regular damage.

Very broken alteration.

It seems it's close to Twins & Ricochet more than it's close to Firebird/Freeze so I don't think it's melee-ranged turret

If I recall correctly they said that Tesla acted (partly) like a melee-ranged turret, the shape of the turret does give it away a bit too. Whether this was actually said or that it is merely a vague thought that got stuck in my head I am not too sure, but to me it seems quite logical. What we do know is that the turret has a secondary mode like Gauss or Shaft; it fires some sort of plasma ball that affects nearby-tanks, it looks a lot like Ares' BFG and possibly bears the same characteristics as that overdrive. However developers may have eventually transferred this concept from Tesla to Ares and could now be thinking off a new secondary firing-mode, who knows...

Will critical damage be added to overdrives? I think that adding critical damage to overdrives will help make this feature more useful. For example, Viking players will have more chances at destroying juggernauts at a quicker and more successful rate instead of being killed too often by juggernaut players. That would be a clever thing to do.

Riddler ☹️  we must eradicate you from the forum to anywhere else.. how you assumed that Viking have no critical damage...!!!!!

Wasted my time doing the test, and I realized that Viking yes have critical damage??? LOL I don't know how you came with such ideas

No. Don't eradicate me from the forum. I need the forum to speak. Viking's overdrive as well as all the other overdrives would be better with critical damage. That's just a suggestion, not a must-have feature.

Developers would choose whether or not to implement critical damage to overdrives. Its up to them to decide, not me.

Supercharge effect (100% critical hit/damage) has been added to the ODs of Hornet and Dictator.

Oh maybe Riddler meant the Supercharge, I understood it wrong. I thought that he means the chance of doing critical damage like any other turret... sorry Riddler

We need better and more effective overdrives. Viking's overdrive does not last long enough. I remember when we had the first experiment last year, that Viking's overdrive was buffed from 7 to 14 seconds. At least, increase the duration of Viking's overdrive to 10 seconds. Adding another 3 seconds wont hurt though.

This is the first time that I completed a Hornet/Railgun game mode with critical damage. I am glad that critical damage now exists so that I can make lots of frequent critical damage kills using Hornet/Railgun in the special game mode.

It is also good that the numbers are easy to see from a far distance.

I made critical damage twice. That is the first time ever that I done double critical damage kill. That is on the Cosmonautics Day 2021 special game mode for for this event. The second screenshot in on the Sandbox map.

The critical damage update overall is a bad update. I hope it gets removed someday.

This would've been the worst update in my opinion if we didn't have the even worse Hull Augments (2020), Augment system (2020), and Weekly Mission Container Reward nerf (2019) updates.
