Technically, when you say "modernizing", you're supposed to make the equipment look OLDER.

This is because Tanki takes place in the future.

Thus, a "modern" version of an equipment would look like something made in the early 2000s or 2010-2020.

 

 

Than again, the Ultra/Prime skins do look less armored and less high-tech than the M3/HD skins, so I guess you guys do have a point.

Sometimes the contents of ultra containers change. Certain skins end up being more or less exclusive depending on how long/how often they're in the reward pool for ultras. Time will tell!

Good luck to all trying to get it from this ultra weekend's special mission Ultras.

I have three problems with this:

  1. Smoky was supposed to be special cause of it's critical hit. Without it having a unique feature, it's literally just an alteration of the other turrets and it's therefore not it's own thing.
  2. Striker was honestly very balanced. It didn't need a buff - AT ALL. Players only complain because it was hard to use. But once you could learn, than a Striker even before this buff was already far superior to it's cousin, Thunder, in terms of overall damage per second and total damage output.
  3. Why don't you guys NERF Gauss, Railgun, Magnum, Shaft, and Isida instead??????????
    1. I'd rather have them get nerfed than having balanced turrets get buffed to compete against the overpowered turrets.
      1. It would make balance less confusing.
      2. Turrets that still aren't buffed (like Freeze and Firebird and Twins) will suffer even more cause of more overpowered threats they have now.
      3. If we buff the turrets without "freely" buffing defense for all players....then we'll all die faster in battles and thus we can barely do anything before someone one-shots us.
        1. I say "freely" because I know for sure the devs will add some P-2-W item that increases our defense.....yeah, NO.
        2. Either nerf all the turrets back down.....or give every hull a free health buff or something or else gameplay in Tanki will become stale cause all we can do is just shoot and kill players and that's it. Only those with Crisis drones or OP buyer stuff can do things such as capture flags and balls and capture points and such.
           

And now you no why i don't play my account.

Tanki is a complete mess, only the p2w benefit from anything new in the game. By the time f2p catch up, the buyers have added several more OTT items to their account. Lose, lose if your f2p.

I always check the possible rewards. Somehow, it is a good thing that developers remove ultra skins from ultra containers temporarily so that it gives better chances for players to earn newly released ultra skins like the new Striker skin which will be released when this new ultra weekend starts.

As others said, I don't think Striker needs any buff especially while the direct peer Gauss get nerfed. Striker is balanced. Anyway, Salvo should be untouched. Any buff in salvo will break the game balance. The huge amount of damage by Salvo shouldn't be that easy

The content of ultra containers changes from time to time, sometimes it includes new augments and in other cases it contains UT skins and so on.

Good things about this update:

  • Striker finally gets some love with an Ultra Skin
  • New stunning alteration (I hope it's an alteration) for Striker. I actually hope it's named something like "Missile Launcher: Volt" or something like that XD.
  • HOPPER IS NERFED
    • It still needs more nerfs though.
  • XP/BP is much better since Hopper will absolutely suck in it now

Bad things about this update:

  • Striker was unnecessarily buffed 
    • Smoky's getting further and further away from it's unique tie with it's critical damage
  • No nerfs for Gauss, Railgun, Shaft, Magnum, and on a lesser note, Isida's damage
  • 4th Protection Module being pay-to-get
    • And the 2nd and 3rd modules may no longer be free
  • XP/BP is now technically "XP" because Hornet is arguably gonna be way more superior than Wasp in the mode, due to it being immune to two hits whereas Wasp can only withstand one.
  • Another setback for Tesla. Why is this update even a thing when no one really wanted it?

Neutral things about this update:

  • Hammer's Blunderbuss is nerfed
    • I have no idea if this was strong or not. Honestly, from seeing the stats alone, it felt really balanced with normal Hammer. And if the critical hit mechanic was removed, it would've been a perfect addition to Hammer's roster of alterations
  • Spectrum Modules got buffed 
    • Hey, at least the biggest rewards you can ever get are more rewarding now :)
  • Duplet is more accurate
    • Doesn't seem to make much of a difference to be honest

for those who created their accounts before the update the 3 modules are free but new players may suffer a bit to have what we have ?

Was it? Reload is faster now. And bigger horizontal spread now let hit multiple tanks with critical damage (this is the reason behind this aug in the first plase, i think). When in was introduced it looks like strange copy of the Slugger (wich reload between shots needs to be longer due to its Rare rarity). Salvo... rrr...
