Well, I can already predict that the new Augment is only gonna be in Ultra Containers for the first few months of its release. : /

Speaking of which, I just watched the V-log and they are releasing a new Striker Augment called Stunning Missiles.

Aiming time is -50%

Stun time is 1 second

Salvo Rockets count is 1

So, I'm guessing this augment is not a chance based augment and you'll be able to stun enemies with your salvo.

And like always, the only way to get it is in Ultra Containers. Great.

It's basically AP Missiles but they took out the AP and added Stun.


I wanted a stun alt for striker but I wished they gave it a better name than the lame "Stunning Missiles" we got now.

How about Missile Launcher "Electra"?
 

  • Follows the naming system of Missile Launchers "Hunter", "Cyclone", and "Uranium"
  • Uses an electric name cause electricity controls stuns on mechanical items such as tanks XD
     

Either that, or my original name for it "Missile Launcher 'Volt'".

Mk8 is Mk7-10.  Mk9 is Mk7-20.    Maybe you can say Mk10-Mk11 for 5000 tankoins, instead.

Honestly guys I'm very fan with the idea of making equipping the fourth protection make your protections to be 35%, and also 5 protections will be lesser.

I think it's very balanced and will open a way of more variety in the gameplay.. One of the usages of the fourth protections is in example, you equipped them against (Gauss/Shaft/Rail/Mag), just because you don't want to be one-shot by them and the 35% for your equipment was enough to protect you from the one-shooting. But it seems the developers have take the paywall curve

And you think getting rare and powerful items for free, when f2p struggle on a daily basis, against the ever increasing OTT, p2w disgrace that is tanki online is ok, because that is what your CM is doing. If i'm wrong, which i'm not, then by all means tell me otherwise.

I keep telling you guys, just stop playing. It really is very theraputic and you don't have to sell you cat/dog/house/car/are siblings, just to get a few ultras to get that shiny new module.

Sounds like you get lock-on in same time stock fires non-guided missiles.

And will it make you drop the flag?

Oh right, basically, if you have the flag and you try to escape a Stunning Missile Striker, you'll never be able to escape.

The 4th module slot costs 5k TKs and can be used on all hulls with any protection.

Hull augments can be obtained form containers (though note they were only added to standard containers not that long ago), can be used only on a single hull, and only offer protection against a single status effect. It may take months until an augment you desire appears in a challenge.

Honestly I'm not quite sure what the hoopla about a TK-only 4th module slot is. With the recent critical damage update and with increasing prevalence of status effect augments, modules have become significantly less relevant. All turrets have a chance to bypass modules, and more turrets are being added. Does a 4th module slot really offer that much of an advantage over free players? Sure, a 4th slot allows for mounting Armadillo. But then that's effectively equivalent to just three slots under the old non-critical damage model.

Well, most of the players with Armadillo can probably afford the 4th module slot.  So they lose nothing when they make themselves immune to criticals as well.  It may not be a huge layer on the P2W onion - but it's another layer nonetheless.

Not a chance I'm spending 5000tk (or even 2500tk on a 50% sale) on the 4th module.  Have strong doubts the game will still be going by the time I have that many TKs anyway. Still can't believe they made it that expensive.

No mention of critical in the augment description.  So... every stinking missile is a stunner?   That would be ... ridiculous.

I saw a Stun Striker briefly earlier today. It was right before the battle ended. I saw the guy put a laser for just over a second and then stunned an Ares. Battle then ended. It wasn't a critical hit so yeah, seems like stun on every salvo.

 

Stun augments have been in the game since January, and it's clear that more will be made. I've already accepted that. I'm just glad that the stun duration is only 1 second and not cancerously unhealthy like Stun Railgun's 5 seconds that can potentially be chained and stun the target for 10 seconds.

Well, how are you supposed to cap in Assault?  EVERY missile aimed at you from one of these strikers re-sets the flag.

There's a difference between being "OP" and not being able to cap at all in a bttle-mode.

Dropping flag in CTF is not the same thing as Assault.  You literally will be unable to cap when every shot from a guided missile that needs just over 1 second to lock on makes you drop the flag.

I'd leave every single battle like that without a shred of guilt.

How are you able to buy these? Everything in the shop is blocked for me. A more countries affected by this now? Has Tanki said anything about it? 

 

Ive slightly adjusted. I didn't mind giving them 5 bucks every now and then. Occasionally spent a bit more, and getting used to not buying now. But is it even possible anymore?
