Well I'll click on paypal, but it will say due to government regulations this transaction can not be completed. Or something to that effect. 

 

Wont allow me to use money on tanki at all. All year. I have used my paypal account this year for other stuff. My paypal isn't blocked. 

 

I guess I could try a visa credit card or soemthing. but i dont want to do that.

just played a match against two strikers with stuns—i have an almost full m4 garage (except few drones)—and still it was completely unplayable. i have spent quite a bit of money in this game from my salary over the last 4 years. while i don't regret that (i enjoyed playing few matches after office), i am certainly not going to spend 5000 coins for a fourth slot. they should not charge for something as basic as a module slot. but, again, this is their business and they will choose the model. all i can say from my experience is this model of charging for the basic setup is not a good sign. i will very carefully consider paying more money after this move. also, i am bit sad that the game is going this way; but i hope that the developers have done the market survey and, hopefully, they understand the players better than i do.

You can GUARANTEE that they UNDERSTAND players better than most.

i hope so. they are successfully running the game for so many years, not me. but i honestly hope that they don't have to say, in near future, that "mistakes were made"

Sorry, but i think you are missing the fundamentals of my post. (point)

They understand players well enough to no that no matter how many times they bring out cash only items, players will ALWAYS obtain them to do well in battle.

It's a cycle of greed the developers have honed with great skill and unfortunately, no amount of complaints will ever see them change their malicious ways when it comes to money.

They no the mindset of players and count on it never changing.

I am one of the lucky few that has broken this vicious greedy cycle, most players just do not have the will to do the same.

If players, f2p/p2w continue to play tanki, then the developers will continue to extract money from them with open arms.

We all as players have a choice. I happen to think i made the right one. Tanki online has become unplayable, you all no this, so why do you continue to play.

ah, sorry if i missed some of your earlier posts—i was not checking all the posts in this thread. i completely agree to what you are saying. my point was: companies went bankrupt before because they wanted to take every bit of juice out of their customers, tanki is probably doing the same right now. and i am bit sad that they are doing this because i like the game.

the reason that i keep playing is: i play for entertainment. i am not here for social justice, to teach greedy people a lesson, or anything similar. it's not that i don't do/support those things, but i choose my battles cautiously. i don't think i want to spend my energy here, i have enough to take care of in real life.  i don't think my choice of keep playing this game is harming other peoples' lives in any serious way.

also, i have no problems that you want to take a stand! all the power to you!

Since some players can now have 4 module slots, we should be allowed to change our equipment more frequently in battle. For example, a 1 minute delay between changing turrets.

yeah, i just came back after 5 years and found a game i was so fond of playing at every opportunity was now nothing more then another run of the mill pay to win game, and i sorely miss its old pay to win style, where you didnt have to dedicate at least 2 hours if you wanna go anywhere and 4 if you want to do anything you consider fun, when i first came back though i found the 4th slot was only 20 coins (probably because i had played before you needed to but 2-4 slots, there were only 3, but now its the normal 5,000, which is fine, i dont really care anymore, and modulus i can clearly see dont actually do anything, i just want to have fun, oh... wait.... i see now im in the wrong place, sorry
