May Challenge I

Guys, what do you guess what legendary or exotic augment will be in May 2th challenge?

I guess it’ll be something for Railgun because in April 1:EMP rounds for smoky  2:Ricochet rounds for smoky

I'm gonna put it here:

challenges, missions, gold events, and the game in general. It's becoming monotonous. Special missions: x score points, y kills with this turret/hull, use z amount of this supply. If there's a gold event - catch 10 golds or whatever.

You can say the same about the challenges and gold events - can't believe i'm saying this, I'm not interested in playing there because it's not the same as it was 5 or so years ago.

Games are fun and interesting because something new comes out regularly, which keeps you entertained. After may holidays, there'll be an ultra weekend at some point and then tanki's birthday. After may 1 challenge, you get may 2, then june 1, june 2, and so on. As a player, I know maybe 60% or even more of what the next missions, events, challenges, special missions, etc. will consist of.

Maybe it's just me growing older and games are not for me.

I'd like to hear your opinions whether you feel the same.

Without ODs is better but yeah, I guess it won't be exactly how it was years ago.

Pro battle were officially dead when they boosted experience and battle funds. I remember  back in the days, i used to play alot of no-lifer battles, for example my biggest one was a 800 minutes (around 13-14 hours) with only a 2 minutes break, but i could gain like 160k crystals, that was my biggest battle in 2018, im glad they boosted fund so now its better to play matchmaking because it lasts only 7 minutes, i remember i could barely move my fingers in the end of the 13 hours battles, those battles were so bad for health, also the risk of losing the battle was huge with alot of mults so i was afraid, but i could gain alot of crystals for that time. Still its a great memory of my biggest tryhard in tanki online, i bet some grinders like alex22thebest and boris4311 couldn't achieve this "13 hours" battles.

Ps: at the end of the battle, like one hours before it ends everyone lagged out and got kicked out of the battle exept for me and maybe 6 other players.

I already got

emp immu for:

  * hornet / hopper / crusade / mammoth 

ap immu for:

  * viking / titan / ares

should be enough to counter most ap/emp situation w light/medium/heavy hull.

unless they boost more stun effect turret like stun striker. Ap and emp augment is most annoying effect in battle, more than fire and freeze effect

Lucky to all who can do this Challenge.

I am almost done with school/college and will be able to play the May B Challenge.

I hope to get Spectrum and the cool, new Augments some other time. (Maybe from Containers, ...)

I can get the AP immunity augment for Titan if I want to, but my OP Vulcan + Titan + Heat Immunity + Incendiary band combo says otherwise.

updated fast crusade OD (3000 damage) to make titan Dome broken with AP effect, followed by gauss ninja style sniping with double damage (2170x2=4340) die in 1 shot. (no need boost drone)

crusade OD is designed to be long distance heavy hull killer. (50sec recharge, faster than titan od)

so titan AP is only thing make titan Dome complete.

I agree, and I found AP to be extremely annoying. But I don't think using AP Immunity augment  will better than what I currently have, given how good Heat Immunity  is with Vulcan.

This is why, out of the heavy hulls, I much prefer Mammoth because of its superior OD. Titan's OD has so many counters these days and imo it's just not as practical as it used to be. On the other hand, Mammoth's OD boosts its speed, makes it immune to all status effects for the duration, creates a death field around it, and after the most recent patch, charges faster than before.

The Spectrum Paint should've given it's wearer a 50% damage resistance to all turrets.

The Assault Drone should've had its effects greatly boosted when used in Assault Mode.

Striker's Missile Launcher "Hunter" should've increased it's salvo to fire four missiles when used with the Hunter hull.

Using Freeze XT on a Mammoth hull should've doubled the Mammoth's health.

The Thunderball paint should've given Thunder a ricocheting ability when worn with the turret.

They only state that they give crystals for compensation. But in my opinion anything other than real money is a joke (no offense to helpers).

EMP Railgun

I still don't understand why people call Battle Pass expensive, 500 tankoins is nothing compared to the rewards that greatly exceed 500 coins.

My own opinion is the game has improved significantly. 

I don't care if you don't like my opinion , It's my and i don't need to follow other's.

But I agree removing  shot effects is kinda boring , and they could make cooler paints

Well, FTP tankers can only afford a BP every 5 Challenges.  4x 100 for Challenges and ~ 100TK from weekly containers.

So... they are getting 1/5 the amount of rewards (including augments) that Buyers can afford.  1/5 if a large gap.

way too many goofy status effects, they ruined modules with criticals, and the supply change is a joke.  New players don't stand a chance, even though they end up playing veterans way too soon.

My own opinion is the game sucks.

I don't care if you don't like my opinion , It's my and i don't need to follow other's.

 

And you draw the line on ... shot effects?  Oh my!   ?

Considering the game used to be only few turrets and hulls and reaching m3 and playing battles stereotypically,yes it improved

That's the improvement? Adding more turrets and hulls?

And what the heck does m3 have to do with anything?  m3 is the same thing as mk7.

Now cover wide rank-spreads in Matchmaker where mid-level players with mk3 or mk4 are playing legends with mk7+.

Or mention the P2W items introduced over past couple years - starting with things like Gauss EMP or hull augments.

Then mention ridiculous hulls like Hopper that absolutely ruin CTF, Assault and Rugby.

Oh... P2W drones like crisis.

The list goes on.. and on... and on...

On paper perhaps, but Crusader's OD is quite hard to aim, even at medium distances. I think they should give it some vertical auto-aim at least, similar to how turrets function.

You just need to realise what i said, i didn't say M3 is not Mk7 or whatever is in your head , i just said game didn't have various cool events and features like challenges , WAR Events , Containers , Drones , Alterations. What i said was reaching Marshal (eventually Generalissimo) and M3 was basically end goal without any special events to continue on
