Anyway about tesla:

I don't think its as OP as many believe. The biggest disadvantage it has is its lack of range. If it was a long range turret, that'd be a different story, but a melee range turret can easily be taken down by keeping your distance.

My only concern is that the noise it makes when holding down the fire button can be heard from anywhere on the map, which makes listening for a nearby Tesla a bit of a challenge.

If you are not in Tesla range of your enemy but your teammate is and you are in range of your teammate, then you can shoot enemies through your teammates. Just fire at everyone and with any luck, you might get some unintentional kills. How much more noob can it be?

Gotta admit Tesla can be used for both.

It can a noob turret and also can be for pro's

If you just barge in to the enemies base and you aimlessly shoot and unintentionally destroy tanks then your obviously your a noob at it. On the hand if you position your electric balls in a way and you destroy many thanks using pure skill then your a pro at it.

Noise has been unplayable for like ever. Way before Tesla was added or even magnum was added. That's because of the map design.

If this map gets added in MM and I get stuck with the lower elevation team, its an automatic leave for me. I don't care if I have friends in that battle or if the devs got a nice reward for me, I get stuck in lower elevation team, I leave, no questions asked.

Being unbalanced(map) is one thing, being unplayable is another.. big buyers with maxed out teslas are dominating this map.  If you havent played this map after tesla release then do it. Also record this and post it here so everyone can see this stupidity whats going on there. They get tons of experience points and kills without moving entire battle, just clicking spacebar. Its power leveling with steroids.

I know what the map is like - I NEVER play it anymore.

Don't need to play it again to know it will still be crap after the release of Tesla.  Magnum already proved how bad the map was.

Woah woah, y'all are doing Noise dirty. Noise and other odd-looking maps are the true spirit of this game. I honestly remember when the only mm map players manually created then was Kungur.

Yeah, players now are going to Noise in purpose to exploit Tesla but if it was a mm map it would have it's average share of weapons.

Saw a guy camping in CTF with Tesla and Dilatory protocol (the augment which make the lightning balls move super slow).

All he did is hide behind a wall/building and keep spamming lightning balls towards the flag to create a lightning "minefield".

 

Yes, he got very low score _{because I'm a Vulcan and I killed 90% of the incomers before they even reach the base}, but imagine the experience of the flag capper. And there is nothing they can do beside asking their Titan friend to help.

Such is life in the well balanced F2P MMO game that is TO.

All none flying monkey tesla players should target those legal hacks, just like I do. It's so funny watching them explode in mid air.   

I gave it a solid 10 by the way, because it destroys the flying monkey players which makes me extremely happy.
