Should gold boxes drop more often for lower rank?

just a quick question, does anyone think that gold boxes should be drop in lower rank battles to help them out, it only seems to be that there are those crystal boxes that are worth 10c, but could we make it that gold boxes can be dropped more than what they already are because there aren't very much dropping at this stage.

Tbh, I think gold boxes dropping less often would make them much more fun and exciting. Once you've seen a lot of them, the adrenaline rush stops happening, so I think making them rarer would actually make things more fun.

Of course, that would come at the expense of giving out somewhat fewer crystals, but gold boxes aren't really a significant source of income in TO's economy nowadays anyways - they're mostly for glory and excitement.

Ye I think gold box drops should still be rare because if made more common players are less exited and the overall feel of the moment is reduced. Also, during events that happen frequently in tanki (cosmonautics, april fools, TBD, halloween, Christmas etc.) do feature higher drop rates so I think that compensates for the in frequentness of gold box drops.

I say a no (well in normal battles) as they create distraction and derails tankers from fulfilling battle objective.

In boosted gold drop rate, that's a yes but beware of armies of Hoppers (which I don't mind but if you do, just giving you a reminder).

I dont think this is actually a good idea, i reckon adrenaline rush is good makes the game more lively

Yeah, I agree with the people above. We should keep them all the same and equal drop rate for all ranks.

This will keep us excited for when Gold Boxes do drop from time to time.

The good thing is that GB drop rates increase during special events, and we have many of those!

That's not what devs expect. They expect you to pay to help yourself. And BTW, don't you get at least one container everyday for nothing? Do your missions and get 2 more. They also say on mobile you can watch ads and get even more containers! Not sure about you, to me that's plenty.

yeah i agree with snafu and thunderhunter we do get plenty of containers as my account has been blessed with lots of alts and shot effects for how low rank i am, and special events are great, so yeah the game can just update as it does

Wouldn't it make sense for this to be the other way around? Gold boxes have more subjective value at lower ranks than at higher ranks simply because 1000 crystals is worth a lot more at lower ranks when everything is cheaper. Therefore, it would make sense for this to be compensated at high ranks by increasing the drop frequency at higher ranks. Moreover, lower ranks would be too carried away by capturing golds instead of focusing on playing the actual game.

In general i think gold box rate across all ranks should be decreased and the value for them increased.

Value increase reason:

Unless you are catching large quantities of them between mid-high ranks 1k is nothing

decreasing drop rate:

 Would make golds have a better buzz about them like catching a container atm maybe
