Tesla in the Garage and new augments

As I expected, there are army of Tesla ruining this game, exactly like how there were Hornets everywhere previously.

Now I have no idea is this the Dev's strategy or are they that ignorant and failed to realized how disgusting Tesla is.

 

I think I should plan my leave now, just like how I did with the old Hornet.

Be patiente, Tesla will be nerfed somehow and when more and more players get Tesla protections, we'll see fewer Teslas.

Right now there's few protections and people like the new toy and it is somewhat OP, all that means even more Teslas in battles making big electrowebs.

When there're only one or two Teslas in a team, it's easy to kill them. Tesla is not as easy as it seems. Right now we kill even when we are not planning to because we can make big electrowebs. When there are many Teslas you just keep pressing the spacebar and eventually you'll light up a big electroweb and someone is dead, somewhere in the map.

That will end sooner or later.

It takes the Devs over a year to do something about Hornet. Same applies to Vulcan HI + IB as well. Some one will argue that they are planning them, so it actually takes that long. But it is never publicly announced, not even something as simple as "we are aware how broken they are, and we are working on it". It is either poor communication, or the Devs simply don't care.

In either case, those are sign of poor management. In fact, this company is able to last that long is a bloody miracle. They have run 3 projects so far while two of them are proved to be unsuccessful. All they have now is a decade product which is some how their main source of income. And they even dare to claim themselves to be "One of the best game development studios in Russia" (I don't know about the laws in Russia, but this is considered as false propaganda and a crime in many countries and regions, because they didn't back up the claim. e.g. by referencing a market survey or study, usually appear as a footnote in a very small font). 33% successful rate and it is already one of the best? Seriously? I have no trust to a company that shameless.

I have zero hope the Devs will fix it anytime soon, given how the Devs handle similar events previously. I wouldn't rule out any surprises though, may be the Devs decided to finally their job and nerf Tesla this week.

Tesla is already in the garage and can by bought with crystal, if that's what you are asking.

I think that tesla has a better gameplay with that long range augment, i hope somedays they will put it in challenge, im not that much of a melee range player, they should have made it for crystals...

But that augment makes Tesla an OP close range turret while can still able to perform decent in short - mid range.

I know exotic and legendary augments are supposed to be OP, but there are simply too many inconsistency among them.

Yes, theyvshould have made it less effective but dor crystals, the tesla's pay to win augment should be the status effect one which will come soon i believe, once they milked xt tesla and other exclusive items enough

On August 6th 2021, day 1, it was normal to have an army of Tesla players because all the players wants to test and try this turret out for the first time. Now, as subsequent days passes by, we shall see less Tesla players in battles. Some players might even get bored of using Tesla and switch to other equipment.

Yes, i have tried tesla on a new account and its big powers make it really boring to play with, like no skills is needed. No skills = no fun

Hey, Tesla really imbalanced this game. i used mk7 fully updated viking with defender drone, boosted armour, and 36% protection, and Tesla kill my tank with only boosted damage of electric ball en 1 light shot. I know you guys need money and wants buyers to buy but this ruined game. I see no future of this game, if you fous on 10% buyers.

Other turrets, hulss and protection are uselss infront of tesla.

Don't worry. Once they rebalance (nerf) Tesla, everyone will go back to there favorite turret.

I hope so, as now i lost interest because you are just wasting time and supplies infront of tesla. 1 buyer in game take away whole game.

Does anyone know how Viking's Overdrive effects Tesla? From what I've seen, all it does is increase the damage.

Viking's OD can kill any combo easily when solo ult.

Yet, doing so is a waste of OD, especially when Viking OD takes so long to charge.

The only OD which should solo ult is crusader, it is designed to be that way after all.

Yep, that's all about it. No rate of fire increase what so ever.

Yeah, but Isida can't even do anything to multiple enemies.

Hammer is also "extremely bad" against multiple enemies because of the low damage per enemy that occurs when less than 9 pellets hit someone....not to mention the turret doesn't posses infinite ammo and has lower base DPS than Tesla.

Just naming a few examples of other turrets that already struggle against multiple enemies.

 

I honestly think Tesla already being able to easily do "some" damage (even if its just a little) to multiple enemies is pretty strong on its own (it is privileged to have a long-reaching chain effect), I personally would nerf the direct damage because it already outclasses Firebird and Freeze in a 1v1 situation due to Tesla's larger range.

 

And if the multiple enemy thing does end up being a problem, just buff the penetration power of the turret - maybe to something like 66%. So every time you hit multiple enemies, the damage only gets divided by 33% instead of the 50% per enemy it is now.
