Tankers!

The Tanki Online Steam client has already been updated to the HTML5 version!

Now we can finally say that the transition stage is over, and that the Flash version is no longer supported.

It will take much less time for us to create new updates for you now as we now can concentrate all our efforts on the HTML5 version of the game, so there will be many interesting features coming soon!

Download the new game client in Steam tomorrow to have access to the recently released updates and improved functionality of the game.

And don’t worry, you won’t lose your hours on record in Steam!

Warning: The new HTML5 client may have issues on Windows 7 and Windows 8.

Allow us to reply on Patch Update. In weekly missions we get total 6 contatiners... after patch update its only 3.

why is it weekly, may as well say they are daily missions too...

I love the Flash version of the game (just like you all) and I will miss it even more now. But on the bright sidewe can't keep clinging to the same old, outdated, unsupported Flash version of the game. One day or the other we will have to get rid of it anyways. And I'm glad it is today. This will only allow the devs to focus resources and everything else on improving the latest HTML5 version of the game for us, which in turn, will make all of us love it and enjoy it more than the Flash version. If they made the Flash version likeable to us, I'm sure they can also do the same for the HTML5 version. One reason why some players want the Flash version is to parkour using the nice physics it offers, but now devs can even easily focus and work on the physics of the HTML5 version. And since they already said they will work on it after replacing Flash with HTML5 on Steam Tanki Online, I can't wait. ?

How about making the garage very ,very user friendly and also making this a priority above everything else, except the dreadful MM system which should be acted on first, but imo is beyond repair so lets concentrate on the woeful garage that has been useless from day 1.

There you go, player feedback. Lets see if it gets acted on in a quick and timely fashion.

First, Tanki removes the ability to buy in a currency other than the one most prominent in a user’s country, now they remove the only way anyone can use the Flash version. Two hard-hitting, awful updates back to back in 48 hours.

How on earth is the removal of Flash “hard-hitting” and “awful”?

First of all, for the last few months Flash has been isolated to one platform, and most people didn’t even use it (myself included).
Secondly, it’s not “awful” either. It’s just Flash, what’s the big deal of it being removed? Also I see you have the Masters of Parkour paint, shouldn’t you be happy that Flash is gone? The devs literally said physics were going to get fixed after the removal of Flash.

The only hard hitting update that I saw this week was the weekly missions change. That one was awful.

Physics are supposedly going to be reworked, yes, but they haven’t been yet, and they also mentioned that the physics wouldn’t be exactly like Flash, so who knows what to expect.

I would much rather be able to play on the Flash version through my Steam account up until the exact day physics are changed, and even beyond then if the physics are still bad (since they supposedly won’t be the Flash physics).

But flash is very bad and outdated, we cant even see status effect, imagine people in MM that get shot by AP gauss or other stuff they dont even know it, also drone additional powers like booster and defender, i understand your parkour problems but the gameplay problems that it encounters are more important. And there are people that dont even know that tanki can be played on browser/ client/ mobile in case you would say to switch the platform, so for a majority, it is better to switch to html5 and rework physics later.

I remember that flash had 1-2 error per each MM battles, i was about to leave tanki but before doing so i needed to try html5 which made me stay, the only thing that is better in flash are marks that left on the wall/ground, they said that this is a planned feature.

Goodbye flash... I'll miss you. I remember playing my first game on you when HTML version wasn't a thing... you're great. I remember seeing the signs that said "don't share your password or you can lose your tank forever!"and my little self was so afraid. I'll never forget your graphics, especially your flag carrier in their bases, which now you can only glimpse in Rugby.  Your old control points indicator, which you can only view in mobile version. So much has changed since then. HTML is overshadowing you, but you had lived on... until now. The old players will never forget you, and you will be forever missed. Rest in peace.

Btw you guys might still be able to play flash on miniclip. I'll make a topic so we can share flash tanki photos. Bye flash! ?

That's because the devs stopped developing the flash version.
