Different friction depending on the type of Terrain

So we can actually have different friction or resistance for different types of terrain that is dirt, snow, sand etc.

I think that in icy maps friction should be reduced since on the ice it is harder to control cars as well as tanks. I think it would also be funny to like drift in the ice and that it would be cool to have less friction especially in Christmas event maps

Valid

You got a real good point. That would honestly give me something new to try ?

I've extended your idea to all types of ground textures having different levels of friction. It would honestly be better if we have different friction for different terrain.

Credits to @nikunj04 for giving me the idea ?

Wait... I thought snow causes more friction  which is correct? @Iron_Man tell me, you are the one with the higher education.

You are correct. Snow has greater friction while ice has less ? That part has to be changed I guess ?.

They can change Massacre into sand dunes.

Well, then they can introduce sandstorm as a graphic update? Sand dunes everywhere

However hovering hulls won't be affected.

It's fine, they already slide all over the place like it's all ice ?

That's a big no. The disadvantage of the hoverings is the decreased stability, and they should have their stability decreased further if the tracked hulls get a decrease too.

Well they won't.  How will they get unstable if they don't touch ground? You tell me xD

Simple. Their hovering engines work less effectively on certain surfaces.
