Quite divided opinions here. Certainly something for the devs/game planners to chew on for future game planning. After all, the idea is to encourage new players to stay? I can kinda understand the frustration from the ground (because I was there before maybe just 1.5 years ago) if you don't have maxed out drones or hulls or good augments. So perhaps one possible change is to have enough lollipops or whatever to complete the first circle....ie. still reward those who play 2 out of 3 of their daily missions, some gold boxes, a rare paint, 3 days premium, 3 containers, 30 tankoins...something like that.

 If you play 100% of your daily missions and complete your weekly missions, for the whole duration of the event, you get to complete the second circle. Perhaps at least give some legendary paint there, 100 tankoins, 10 days premium, 10 containers. Then for the pro gold catchers and buyers, leave those exotic rewards like XT skins, tankoins of 500 and above and special drones to the third and fourth circle.

Not even being able to complete 1 round is truly demoralizing.

PS. I am a 100% F2P also

It's called constructive feedback, in case you didn't know. :P

Seeing reactions from many players, I'd say that the mechanic to get sent back instead of forward is the worst of the whole minigame. You have a chance to keep getting sent back over and over which is just cruel and you are only gonna get negative feedback and complaints while achieving nothing, since first island gives only little rewards everyone is supposed to get for free. It would be a lot better to remove the chance to get sent back 2 islands and instead change the rolls as following: (random numbers, it's just an example)

Chance to move forward by 1 (high, maybe 50%)
Chance to move forward by 2 (low, maybe 30%)

Chance to move forward by 3 (very low, maybe 20%)

This way you will need a definitive number of steps, or lollipops, energy or whatever resource to reach the destination, but if you got lucky, you might get there faster.

Now, obviously this would need some balancing, just adding a number of islands so the average "lollipops per round" stay unchanged would solve this problem completely, while keeping the LUCK factor, removing most of frustration and keeping the intended mechanics of this game (you would be able to finish 1st round f2p, second round only by catching tonn of goldboxes and further ones only by spending money).

Other than that, I think the game is quite balanced so that you are very likely to finish first round if you do most of your daily missions and actually give a chance to complete two rounds to the biggest tryhards.

Well, the free rewards you can more realistically get are TINY. After 18 turns, I'm still about 12 steps away from making it to the first island. I've only accumulated 2500 crystals and 3 Gold Boxes. If you cash out the Gold Boxes, that goes up to a measly 5,500 crystals. I can literally get that with two battles. Maybe 3 if I'm unlucky and join one that's already in progress. (why does this happen anyway? it's so annoying.) I only play daily missions and I've already earned 33,000 crystals. Of course that's with premium but even without premium that's still 16,500 crystals. That's ignoring Containers too! I save my Containers until the weekends when I open them, and I get THOUSANDS of Crystals. Even with two bad Containers I can get 7000 Crystals. Also, you get 30,000 Crystals from one week's supply of Weekly Containers. That blows this scam event out of the water.

Now I know someone's going to mention the Batteries, the Tankoins, and the Nuclear Energy supplies. I've earned 90 Batteries so far (I haven't even gotten them on my account because I haven't even made it to the first island) which is again overshadowed by two Containers. Weekly Containers give 30 Batteries each, so there's no advantage to trying to luck out with rolls over playing like normal. 

I've accumulated 40 Tankoins but let's be real, playing and doing all your dailies for the same amount of time (this event lasts 24 days) gets you 100 Tankoins from the Challenge and gets you well on your way to completing the next one. And again, Weekly Containers give you 24 Tankoins per week. In three weeks (the duration of this event) you get 72. Which would you rather have, 172 or 40? I know my choice.

Nuclear Energy supplies exist. They are totally useless for me.

Cherry on top: I'll get these tiny rewards if I'm lucky enough with my rolls to make it to the first island. Spoiler alert: I've missed two days and my luck has been mediocre at best.

Honestly, when I made my comment that this event is just tiring to play for not many rewards and @Gold said that he was a f2p and that he was 7 steps away from the second island, I thought I was the only noob whose luck just sucks, but turns out it's like that for many people.

Yeah even heavy buyers wouldn't be dumb enough to buy lollipops. For the final prizes here, I'd be willing to spend a max of $50 if the demonic skins were for my favorite combo that is.

However even if that happens, I doubt I'd be willing to spend money in this game due to it dying and all, ya know.

The current challenge is gonna be my last challenge I ever complete in this game. After its over, I'm gonna transition to only playing once in a while instead of daily.

I can't even enter the game via my computer with Chrome browser. This message appears on every attempt:

The mini game sucks, i logged it and had 12 lollipops from a previous day, so i managed to get atleast 50 lollipops from then but it didnt refreshed the real numbers of lollipops! Now, it says you dont have enough lollipops... also, it keeps send me backward, next time, i wont play this, it gives alot of frustration getting sent backward, is it this that the devs want, frustrate players? A game is supposed to be relaxing, not giving more frustration and stress than the real life already have.
