It is frustrating, when you have 15 seconds on the timer and you are about to capture flag in assault. The enemies have 100 points your team have 96 points. Cap one more and your team wins! 

Well you are nearing the Base with 15 seconds left. You can do this no problem. Then.... BAM. The battle ends!!! 

I suggest to let the timer run out before the battle ends. That way we can avoid such situations nor only in assault but in many other modes, where a few seconds make all the difference. I think this can be pretty beneficial.

Never seen battle end with 15 seconds left, to be honest. Battles end in the last 2-3 seconds. If the battle has ended quite before the entire duration is over, I suppose that's because your opponent's team has reached the score limit. Would be good if you can get a video.

No, it's like a few more seconds left and battle ends. Every second counts even 3-4 seconds.

I have a really good ping, which should be around 30, but the battles for me always end way quicker (on mobile), sometimes even when it shows 20s left. So probably the timer is bugged.

For me it tends to end with 6-8 seconds left.
