Decharge - new status effect

Decharge is the opposite of supercharge. It prevents the enemies from getting critical shots. It will be available for hunter's OD as well as hornet's. For hornet it lasts for 8 seconds and enemies within the AP range of the OD.

For hunter it is the person that got stunned, EMPed, basically all the tanks that touched the lightning that flew out of the tank while ODing.

For augments this will be available for hammer as the 《decharging pellets》augment, the critical hits of the shots inflicts decharge for 3 seconds.

For smokey the 《decharging rounds》augment also inflicts decharge for 3 seconds with all criticals hits.

For railgun every critical hits inflicts the decharge effect for 5 seconds.

For tesla the 《accelerated decharging protocol》augment causes the  lightning ball travels at the speed of accelerator protocol not the electroturret augment. It deals decharge for 3 seconds.

For the rapid fire turrets this will be too OP and therefore they won't get this augment.

This effect will help to stop supercharge; prevent critical damage based status  effect augment from happening too much. What do you think?

Basically anti-supercharge. Makes your critical chance goes to 0. Cancel out with supercharge. Good against crit-relied turrets like Railgun, BB-Hammer, any crit-SE augments. Could be applied via Hunter's OD, turrets' augments, you all know how it works.

the game already got ruined because of 500 different status effect so no... just with the new upcoming jamming which can disable drones bye, that's enough.

Valid

I can't think of any reason to decline this. So yeah ?

How about calling the new status effect "Discharge"? It sounds better than decharge. Or other names we can call it as well. But if people like decharge, that's good too.

Well waddaya know, I wrote the title as 'decharge'. However after I posted the topic I found out I wrote every mention of the status effect after that as 'discharge'. I had to edit every mention of it ?

I didn't choose discharge cuz reminds me of hospital lol, and ain't exactly the opposite of supercharge. Idk I'll see what people think.

Hmm, why only 3 seconds? It is not as powerful as stun/emp/ap. Its like temporal and random version of armadillo. If this module exist I don't see any reason to make this effect lasts so little.

Good point I'll edit it one day, for now I'll procrastinate ;)

This might actually be nice as a buff to Jammer, instead of the current idea where it is planned to cancel drones - I think that that would be too game-breaking. if Jammer cancelled critical strikes also that might make it more potent.

However, while it is a good idea in itself I think we don't need any more status effects to be added to the game, because we already have enough (If not too many). If more are added this will tempt the developers to go in the direction of the double-immunity augments they talked about bringing out in the future - which would be a massive pay-to-win feature, and make the current pay-to-win situation even worse. It is a cool idea though, but either I would like to see it added to Jammer or not at all.
