Battle stratigies

There were some good players who knew how to defend against and then mount an effective offense against tanks using shaft.   These players were often able to force me to change to a different turret because of their battle strategies.  Players of lesser talent and no real battle strategies simply complained that  shaft was to powerful and to easy to use.  The good players were not the ones doing the complaining.  Instead of altering shaft so that it is pretty much worthless in almost all challenge matches,  tanki  should offer "classes"  in effective battle strategies against specific turrets. This would aid those of lesser skills to deal with turrets that they find troublesome.

Many play the game for fun. If I have to learn and attend live classes, just to deal with a downright overpowered turret, just to deal with it, I'd gladly rather stop playing.

At the end, all that matters if I am having fun or not. If I am getting one shotted by every other chap, who uses this fundamentally broken turret, I would rather slam down my laptop, boot up my pc, and play warzone. To play a game, you need to have fun and as long as you don't have fun, nobody plays the game. Also, not all take the game so seriously the way you do.

Also, you really expect to hold classes to children, who are a greater part of the playerbase, who don't even attend their regular school classes properly?

I still see chaps using the turret as efficient as it was before the nerf and I personally see no difference in its power. Why? Cuz we truly understand what shaft is. Shaft is a sniper. As long as you've never truly understand a turret's purpose, you can never truly get the full power of it. I still get 41 kills for 2 deaths and I still am rocking with 500+ score from healing my allies. Shaft is still an extremely strong and fun turret, that is, if you truly understand what it is.

This would require almost all turrets to be classified under the "classes" you are suggesting about. One turret that you might be feel easy to deal with can be considered difficult or hard w.r.t to another person and vice-versa. This would reduce the element of free and casual playing just like Iron said which effectively is not good.

I agree with you.

 

Tanki Online really needs to make Shaft better.
