Sometimes, things are too OP with or without armadillo, like even if i have maxed armadillo it is impossible to survive against a super charged freeze. But when i talked about DM, i meant that it is better to equip freeze striker hammer and twins protection than any 3 of those 4, and replace the last one by Armadillo.

I too have around 300 tks , I am wondering whether to buy coinboxes and get 1k cuz I want the fourth slot badly but luck hasn't been in my favor much lol.

I tried freeze with Hornet OD on an enemy tanker equipping armadillo module and even AP protection. The crits were reduced in half, and it didn't even apply AP on him but still the damage was about 700 per tic which made it easy enough to take down even him.

the probability of earning more than what you spend in coinboxes is akin to winning any public lottery. After having a go several rounds earlier this year, i concluded it was definitely not worth it unless you are a BIG buyer. I've won several coinboxes through promo codes, had a go for free and the returns are typically low. There were just a couple of youtube videos where players won the BIG prize of 100K tankoins.

apply this to tanki byers have already that things now u got a chance to get this with 1k tankoin means u reach my level and statement game is balanced 

and u saying crystals now earning 10 million crystals is not a big deal so on supply.

20-30% of people for example will not even buy the 1k bundle  - some sacrifice is necessary to get something.

Yes, armadillo is useless sometimes, like if i have equiped hopper and the ennemy is using blunderbuss, instead of giving 4k damage at critical hits, he will give me 2k which is enough to kill me, there are lot of situation like this where armadillo is useless

In the Shop, it says,  that we have 12 more days to buy the offers. We will be behind schedule if we only get at least to 2.5 mil.

Our goal is around a million a day.

Crisis is already nerfed to be honest, because it gets hit hard from the new Jammer effect. It is one of the drones most hurt by Jammer, because it will only have 1 supply on when Jammer is applied - whereas other drones will have up to 3. Also Crisis will NOT be everywhere as some predict should the fund reach 15 million, as has already been said Crisis is far too supply-hungry for free players or light buyers to maintain (unless it is on an alt account which is played rarely, but regularly collects shard containers). I have had Crisis for months and have only used it for about 5 battles - because there is no way I can afford the supplies. I can't even keep up Defender/Trickster/Booster constantly if I play regularly, never mind Crisis. So even if everyone who bought Bronze gets Crisis, it will still be a buyer/helper/eSports player exclusive item - nothing will change in this regard.

Massive congrats to all who bought Bronze and got the fourth slot!  (Including me :P ). Really nice to get this much sooner than expected, and to be able to buy battle passes instead of saving for the fourth slot now.

I do feel sad for those who are not able to make the 1k tankoins by December 16th however. Many of us were already saving for the fourth slot, so we had enough tankoins - so those who were really putting a big effort in to get the fourth slot have now been rewarded early. However, if the developers are giving away the fourth slot this cheaply now, I think it is highly likely we will see discounts on it in the future anyway. I would expect it to be included in the New Year 50% off sale, and also perhaps it will be available in future events? Who knows, but it has been out for a while now so this might be the start of it being more freely available - I hope so for those who miss out on this event.

I have been saving upto 2300 coins at a time, (320 coins per month, that is 7 month saving, 14 challenges)

then AP freeze was showing up in challenge, I skip AP freeze once before in its previous challenge because I was saving and waiting for AP titan at that moment;

after think there are still 9 months ahead to saving another 2700 extra coins, I pulled the trigger and got the pass for AP freeze (as I already have EMP for gauss, smoky, long range AP rail, and I need a close range AP augment to fill the final gap of emp/ap tactics)

I wouldn't normally advise getting coinboxes (as they have a much higher chance for you to lose all your tankoins than gain any, and also because they are basically pure gambling which is a dangerous thing to get into), however in this very rare situation I might consider them, if I didn't have enough tankoins to reach the 1000 any other way.

Basically coinboxes give you a very high chance for your to lose all your tankoins, and a low chance to get something good - so I buy them on my alts which I almost never play, if they reach 150 (if I play them so rarely that I would not ever reach enough for a battle pass otherwise), and I also sometimes buy them on my main for every 1000-1500 tankoins or so that I earn, just in case I managed to get a good opening. However what is CRUCIAL to do with coinboxes is that if you get a good opening - DO NOT REBUY. If you get a good opening you want to take that and leave it - if you re-buy you will most likely lose all that you have gained, which is mega frustrating.

I actually did get coinboxes on my alt accounts that would not have made the 1000, and 2 accounts did manage to get over 1000 and so have enough for the offer. However, most of them lost all of their tankoins - as I expected. One went down from over 600 to only 30 or so.

This is basically what I would do if I was short of tankoins for the Bronze pack (and what I might think would be a good strategy for non-buyers):

1) If I had 600 or so tankoins: complete the challenge and try to do as many events as possible. Try to win a tankoins promocode from the eSports livesteam, or get one from friends. If it seems I won't get 990 by December 19th, buy coinboxes on the closest Ultra Weekend before then.

2) If I had under 600 tankoins - go for coinboxes and take the chance.

However, there is always the chance that they offer the fourth slot again in a future giveaway (or reduce the price of it), given that they have done so for the first time here. Or, you might just want to save your tankoins for the next battle pass - or save for the fourth slot the normal way in the hope of future discount. So not going for coinboxes, even if you won't have enough for the Bronze pack, might be a good long-term strategy anyway. It is your choice - just don't get addicted to gambling via coinboxes, which are basically pure gambling and really one of the most dangerous things in Tanki, lol.

That is the negative side in general, even though its a very good thing that the fund reaches 15 mill and you get to have crisis, but on the other hand, all the people who contributed are getting the same, thus declining the popularity or exoticness of the item.

Exactly, though on average it should be around 1.5 Million per day, which means yersterday was according to schedule, but today we are lagging behing a bit.

I really don't think that the fund will reach 15 million, I don't think people should expect this, because I can imagine lots of disappointed posts if it doesn't get there around the 19th December. If it does then it will be a nice surprise.

What I do think is likely is that we will get the 15 container + 15 Ultras, along with the fourth module - as well as having that small chance to win 7200 tankoins (or will it be 8000? Not sure at what point the 10% for eSports players will be subtracted). For 1000 tankoins, that is really great. And I think there is a good chance we could get 1 or more skin containers. Armadillo and Crisis however - I think the chances are very low, but let's see.

Nice :) I think we will may well see only quite slow progress between now and Thursday evening, but probably quite a spike on Friday/Saturday with people buying Silver or Gold bundles to get the new Twins augment once it releases this Friday. I think if we have over 7 million by Saturday night Crisis might be possible, otherwise I doubt it will happen.
