Gold boxes.

Recommended Posts

I've been thinking this for a while now. We all remember the old days when gold boxes had high value, and I mean huge value. A thousand crystals was a lot back then. And In my knowledge the drop rates of gold boxes in battles haven't changed. A thousand crystals at the present day has meagre value. So it doesn't make sense for a rare box to give just a thousand crystals that drop during a battle.
What I'm saying is, as the value of crystals decrease, the gold box rewards should increase right? Just think about it. Gold boxes are meant to be special. The siren is supposed to alert players about something big that's going to happen. And a gold box worth a thousand crystals nowadays isn't really a big deal.

If the developers think that gold boxes these days are just meant to be a bonus for any random lucky player, you guys should probably just remove the siren.

My suggestion is:
Increase gold box reward value. Value of gold boxes dropped by players should remain unchanged.

Maybe the solution would be to decrease dropping gold rate by X10 times BUT increase its reward by X10 times so it would solve the problem and not fall into "increase items reward" rules. The gold box would be so rare and rewarding.

Would still fall under Rules for which we do not accept Ideas.

Well, we can make exception to some rules sometimes, atleast, that's what i saw spy or maf say once. That specific rule prevent it to preserve game balance but in the case i mentionned above, i preserve game balance as long as gold boxes' values are increased and its drop rates are decreased.

You have to choose, either preserve gold's rarity or have plenty of them but they are nothing special. Also, it could apply only to the normal MM maps and gold events remain as it is.
