We are happy to announce that the upcoming Friday, Saturday, and Sunday will be ULTRA!

 

There will be a special mode, special missions, boosted funds and experience, Coinboxes and Ultra Containers, 2 valuable special offers, and a themed design.

 

This Ultra Weekend will start on Friday, December 10th, at 2:00 UTC, and will last until Monday, December 13th, at 2:00 UTC. 
 

Special mode

 

This weekend, play in the «Classic» mode!

• Mode: CTF

• Maps: Sandbox Remastered

• Format: Only Turrets, Hulls and supplies

 

Ultra Containers

 

Of course, you can't forget about Ultra Containers! You can get them by completing various special missions as well as by purchasing them from the Shop.

 

Here are some of the epic prizes you can get from these containers:

 

• Twins' «Vaporizer» and «Cryotron» augments;

• The unique high-quality Crusader XT skin;

• Detailed Ultra skins for Vulcan and Viking;

• Animated «Drive» paint;

• Vulcan's «Mysterious Red» shot effect

Coinboxes

 

As usual, Coinboxes will be available for purchase in the Shop during the event. If you are lucky enough to get 100 000 Tankoins from them, share a screenshot on the forum!

Special missions

 

You can never have enough Ultra Containers. Complete the special missions to get them and… stars!

 

• Supermission: The best at everything!

• Task: Complete «Medallist», «Standard-bearer», «Armadillo», «Tornado» and «Typhoon» missions.

• Reward: 7 Ultra Containers and 150 stars

 

• Mission: Medallist

• Task: Get into the TOP-3 of the winning team 1 time.

• Reward: 1 container and 50 stars

 

• Mission: Standard-bearer

• Task: Earn 9000 battle points in CTF mode in matchmaking battles.

• Reward: 1 container and 50 stars

 

• Mission: Armadillo

• Task: Use boosted armor 330 times in any matchmaking battles.

• Reward: 1 container and 50 stars

 

• Mission: Tornado

• Task: Destroy 130 tanks using medium hulls (Viking, Paladin, Hunter, Crusader, Dictator) in any matchmaking battles.

• Reward: 1 container and 50 stars

 

• Mission: Typhoon

• Task: Destroy 130 tanks using heavy hulls (Ares, Titan, Mammoth) in any matchmaking battles.

• Reward: 1 container and 50 stars

Will the "ultra boost" and "radioactive ray" bundles count towards the tanki fund? If not , why would anyone want to buy it considering getting silver bundle multiple times will give UC's + boost their chances for getting lots of tankoins for free whereas buying these two bundles will only give UC's.

Another stupid weekend event with stupid rewards. Play 10 hours daily to get stupid druggs. 1 hour for daily missions is enough. Stop doing crap missions like 9000 battle points. 3000 points daily ? Are you crazy ?

When are we going to have 7 days Ultra missions ? Or 10 days Ultra missions ?

 That is one of the things I am intrigued about, lastly these remastered maps are a pain for my system. I can't even load into any let alone playing in them. I am hoping how the optimization has turned out, maybe it supports smoother gameplay on low-end system also.

Will there be an increased gold drop rate like the last couple of weeks? Or just once in a while? Personally, if Tanki had an increased gold drop event every weekend, regardless of map or type tank (turret & hull), I think it's something to look forward to. Getting golds is at least half the fun of playing. And why not? Crystals can at least buy upgrades and supplies. For those of us who have a full garage of 20/20 hulls, turrets and protections, crystals don't buy too much anymore. We have to buy tank coins. And yes, I have bought several special ultra packages, only to be disappointed in gettting perhaps one augment (hardly effective in a game), a special shot effect, a paint (oh wow, I only have over 260 paints!), and the rest just extra supplies, which with the buildup of crystals you can buy in the shop at 25% discount most anytime. It's time for more creativity on weekend events. Having lots of gold drops is a good start. But for special packages, Tanki needs to lower their price for things like Crisis, Armadillo, XT skins for Ares, Hopper, Paladin and Crusader, to more affordable prices. I, for one, will not pay $200 for a gamble that I ' might 'get one of these. However, I would pay 4,990 tank coins for a 'guaranty' that I am going to get Crisis (or the others). Think about it Tanki. You can get more money with "guarantees" at a lower price than a gamble at a higher price, despite your continued marketing hype of chances being 2x-5x-10x better!. In fact, I'll bet the math works out that you'll make MORE money with garantees at a lower price!!! They call it business 101, and it's "volume" that builds revenue. Like Spiderman says: "nuff said!"
